Equipment: will provide oil filter opener, spark plug opener.

** take note as it is not at LAB, bring all those u need to change**

 

Equipment needed for header make over

For those who are interested to know what are the things you'll need, here it is:

 

-Sand paper (preferably cloth type as will come in touch with water. Cloth type will not tear)

-Water

-High temp Spray

-Newspaper (like posted, you'll need quite alot. For spraying purposes)

-4 rubber bands (to keep the headers socket in place. Don't know what you call that also. Luan Pong one, but bring extra loh... maybe 8.)

-trash bag (throw your rubbish)

-Mp3 player/board games/card games/radio etc for entertainment while waiting.

-Cloth. Once header is out, your exhuast will dangle there and will hit your pillion stand. Leave a cloth there to prevent scratching.

1. EO change

2. Oil filter

3. Spark Plug

4. Clean air filter

5. Flush coolant

6. Sponge black the header by xbox80

What would be the time of DIY?

 

I would require to change coolant, spark plug and maybe borrow a bit of spray to cover the rusty look on the header only.

eh bro, i got good news for u. i got one extra vlack spray, cuz one of them is with red cap, so they tot got 10 red instead. i reserve for u already, u can come collect anytime today. u pm me ur number? i cant find ur number in the list leh

 

anyway, it's more resistent to heat, up to 700 degree C

I can help out on the easier stuff: Coolant flushing, spark plugs & EO change (but I got no tools).....

 

Another way is to postpone it to a later date or time.....

aiyah, jus saw ur msg. was out whole day lah. i going pump tom after work with my colleagues. maybe sat i pass to u? but why haven confitm place? as someone mentioned to me, why dun make it at ah boy there? got ah boy, kopitiam, multi-story cp and wather to wash bike leh

Hmm.. That would be a good place i think. As you guys can get spares in case of anything. Bring along soap if you wanna wash your dirty hands... Not sure if the tap is working now but the other time, yes, it was working...
