Bike Preventive Maintenance

Hi Guys ! Im new here =) I will be leaving my country for at least 6 mths is there any washable product to recommend that i can apply on the chrome and metal parts of my motorbike to prevent these parts from rusting while im away ?

Apply vaseline thick thick, but the problem is it attracts dust and won't last 6 months given the rainy weather here.

I'd apply WD-40 liberally then cover it.

WD-40 will dry within hours. No use. Vaseline or grease are better solution

find a nice sheltered parking spot, make sure you have canvas and cover it. canvas is way more important than whatever u spray, you can spray WD-40, 3M also has a product, called 5 in 1 or something, it's pretty good as i'm using it, spray on your chrome surface, it shouldn't rust that much in 6 months, you have anyone starting your bike for you? 6 months will leave your battery flat, give your keys to a sub rider and let him ride from time to time

Gear oil/engine oil and sheltered parking with cover.

 

Disconnect your battery terminals.

Skytng is it the 3m scotch spray can you give me the model that you use ? Many thanks

Apply KY jelly, super oil..
