still remember u accompanied me by the side of the road, while i take smoke break due to fatigue and sleepy at Thailand!

 

 

Dun mention my frd and fellow team mate it my duty as a marshall and as a assistiant leader to do wat i should.

 

You are a gd team mate as well. U do wat u need to do when u tired to aviod possible accident which may cause by fatigue and sleepyness.

regarding the convoy yea it was pretty botched from LPS to ECP. sorry about that, i did not brief everyone. as far as i rmb, our group moved out slowly one by one. however, a few gixxers did shoot to the traffic lights, thus a few got cut off. some of us also uturn back to check blastedgal because her bike stalled. some got cut off again and that furthur added to the confusion.

it's really not easy to maintain a proper convoy! next trip we should pay more attention on this.

Juz hope nobody feel offended. Ultimately we juz want everybody to b safe and sound.

i myself ride a big bike so i noe how the big bikers feel the need to throttle ur machine. and it can get very taxing if u ride ur 1,000cc bike at 70km/h.

 

as long as u follow rule of traffic and maintain self-discipline, by all means, i'll c u at the next checkpoint.

Urmmm.. Yeah during raya can also convoy from one house to another... can skip mine.. Mine so very small... I think you all will end up at the staircase sia.. Unless you all dun mind uh...

 

I'm tired.. Eh, seriously, what do you guys do when your hands get numb? My right hand always gets numb first to the point I dunno whether I'm maintaining, open or close my trottle.. I stopped at the side, and keep squeezing my hands.. continue, the numbness came back almost immediately.. Like that then my left hand also will start to feel a bit numb liao..

Get an automatic scooter.

 

ur hands numb is normal, esp when u play wif ur throttle & clutch more often.

mayb do some hands exercise or stop ur bike and rest for awhile.

Tell yrself if u dun wan to get lost over and over again .. Rmb by heart.. open yr mind and heart when u ride . not ride for the sake of riding

I try to remember, but I very slow in memorizing... I took me 2 trips to remember one route... To work i remember also because i took taxi two days in a row before i took my bike.. then i remember..

 

Hmmm.. For AMK, i met some lady rider and make her lead me to AMK twice, then I remember... For BBDC, I only remember the bus route.. So needless to say, must be the very long way...

 

Other places, like zamani said, I need a riding buddy to bring me to places... But I dunno who.. My brothers within the neighbourhood got weird working hours or schooling with tonnes of projects to finish up..

 

My mouth very heavy to ask for favours one.. Not say I very rich also want to offer anything in return.. I can't expect them to always be available for me right.. Hmm.. dunno eh..

Take yr time no worry that why all here to help each other. Find another group that u need to ride around also gd. Dun wan to use yr mouth then learn in the hard way . I also liek that before but mouth very useful depend u wan to use anot. God give use alot natural organ to use. It yr choice

small advise . remember north,south,east and west. the places which r in those area 1st. den expressways going where going where. if realli cannot . use the street directory before heading out.

Opps sorry dun agree to that. 1 example is malacca candol very nice better then sin and make by chinese. And also similar thing around can be found base on news alone. How many malays make the best. Have but rare. Also hard to compare but base on fact wise. Well i am sorry chinese win. No racist here but jsut my point of view. You have yrs as well

Most important thing to take note when riding ALONE is the distance you travel since you last fuel stop. Do NOT place unconditional trust in your fuel gauges as they sometimes fail. Or else need to call your buddy for help.

talk about fuel, last saturday i went trailing alone and when i was almost out of the trail my tank went dry! zzzzzzzzzzz..... had to push the bike 1km out and another 1km to get petrol!!!!!

Mine went to reserve while I was on PIE.. Then I remember what Bryan say.. just calm down and turn the switch to reserve.. It was jerky.. but managed through.. didn't die.. like luckily.. but I was already on the left lane about to go road shoulder when I felt my bike receiving some power after some 2second long of jerkiness.. so I carried on.. I think my face was all white coz scared it died like the other day.. Some more on PIE...

Try not to run on the reserve... that's where all the dirt is... will clog your fuel filter earlier than expected!

Huh? At east coast i top up before heading to Kent Ridge.. that petrol yesterday went to reserve whilst I was at PIE.. I topped at the first petrol station I see lor.. It's the part where I need to be quick and switch the fuel gauge to reserve that scares me...

 

Mine goes to reserve every 200km.. I tot I read it at 598 the last time i topped up.. So expected it to go reserve at 798, was telling myself first petrol station go pump le.. At that point my mileage was at 728 and already enter PIE .. Then midway suddenly no power, so i get ready to enter road shoulder by remaining at the left of the left lane... i switched it to reserve and try to trottle... slowly2 the power comes back to live uh... But jerky...

 

Maybe last time I top up petrol not up to the brim thats why lasted less than200km... Dunno also..
