what brand do you recommend with the best mixture of price and quality ?

I'm not affiliated with any shops but I feel that Komine mesh jackets from MotoWorld seems decently priced with adequate protection and most importantly good airflow with their mesh jacket range.

Tried Alpinestar before and although it gives good airflow on the move, they are slightly heavier and heat builds up fast when at stops.

That said, I'm on a Dainese now and it serves me well. Mine is the basic mesh (can't remember the model) which comes without the back/front protector. Even when I put the back padding to it, it's still very light and ventilated well.

Never tried the other brands before so can't comment.

Not actually like Komine but for basic level is quite cheaper than others.

Dainese is quite expensive. Prefer Rs TaiChi for abit higher price than Komine but better material and ease of wearing.

Go MotoWorld and check TaiChi

I really don't know which Is better, but dainese seems like the nicest to me.

For equipment vs equipment... The same level for Dainese can buy 2 Komine or RS Taichi... And can't complain Komine quality much as it seems to be rather well made.

Dainese brand though is much 'prestigious'. Their entry level mesh costs near $300 whereas the Komine is around $150. But good news to all.... JR Pte Ltd (Dainese SG) is giving 20% off ALL USUAL PRICED items now till Aug 1. Best time to get your gear from them now.
