Exhaust fume very smelly

It would be nice if smell of onion...

 

hmm... interesting... mine too, my exhaust smell also gave me a very strong patrol "taste" recently. Think last time forget to top up coolent, so could be my engine oil got eaten up a bit. My S4 just did a top overhaul 4 months ago and service my carb at K&T less than 1 month ago, so dun tink got anyting to do with my piston ring. Crazy, do you top up your coolent regularly too?

 

What you guys think??

 

Yes if coolant run low, i will top up.

check your engine oil bro, if need to top up, top up a bit before your next eo change... but if it's time to change your eo, change maxima ultra or extra, see if the smell still stays...

 

btw, it cld also be the fact that we are too sensitive to the smell... cos i got my brother, who ride s4 b4 to check the exhaust smell of my bike, he said it's normal, then I realize I was over-sensitive over the petrol smell. =)

Anyway its ok for your engine to eat abit EO,too much is not good...So far what i've seen when disassembling car engines,i see 2 compression rings and 1 oil control rings..Anyone here by the chance got take photo of your s4 when doing overhaul(Especially the cylinder head)?...I want to see hows the arrangement of the valves,camshaft,rocker arms(if have lah) and etc...

Use Maxima before but still got the smell. Over sensitive? Dunno lei i find that my petrol/whatever smell very strong. Even my friend finds it very strong.

Yep sounds like paparazzi...I tried to get the S4 Spec 3,specification manual(for mechanic edition) but tough luck,even my "lobang" says thats trade secret.
