I'm currently riding a ta200 and just had the rear suspension changed. However when riding, I can sometimes feel the rear of the bike move from side to side and it feels like i could slip off at anytime. Is this because of my new suspension or is something loose in the rear?

The last time I rode a ta150 and experienced similar to wat you describe, it was a punctured rear tyre.

Its difficult to diagnose online your problem. Generally if a suspension has problems, it will not be side to side. It should be either too much up and down bounce, or not enough bounce causing a bottoming out of the suspension, causing a thumping feel on the butt. But if the suspension itself not properly fixed, I dont know.

If wheel is loose maybe due to worn bearings, if you use hands to forcefully shake it side to side, you will see it and feel it. As long as there is side to side movement, however little, something is wrong and loose and needs immediate attention.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

Hello Pineapple,

Please do these following checks. These are the following

1) Rear wheel Bearing

2) Tyre Alignment via Swingarm gauge

3) Abnormal Tyre Wear / Uneven Buldging

4) inbalanced rear sussy .could be one side is highly seated or highly winded up than the other.

It should rectify your issues.
