i remove my visor and dump my helmet in a pail of water with some nice smelling hair shampoo w/o removing the padding. soak over night. next day rinse and dry.

 

whoa... what a method.. totally different from the rest..

 

but then wont feel itchy ??

ya.. i wonder hw the helmet looks like after teken out of the freezer... sure will do it when its hot day and do riding..syok man! hahah

Ya that's true R1Rider washing it regularly. For me i put the small sachet of air fresherner for a car in the helmet. bought it at JB. Not sure whether it still there. The last check can't find the damn thing.

actually the best method is to wear a liner, better results with a bandana. Why you might ask? well, just imagine wearing your shoes the whole day with and without socks, which one will stink? i always wear a bandana, i've never used air freshener or sun the helmet, no odour at all, even after months of use. I only wash the cheek pad occasionally, since it's the part that's directly in contact with my skin

wash and dry with a hair dryer! takes like 10 min:cheer: i switch on the turbo button. steady.
