Hi Ben,

 

I'm one of a member of the said malaysian versys forum. do drop by more often and we could share stories of Versys riding across the causeway.

 

If you intend to ride up to Hattyai, do let us know, probably some of us here wouldn't mind riding up north together.

 

But probably you'd want to consider djboyz's offer of meeting up in KL this year end and save half the journey, lol.

It would be a good excuse for a day ride for both of us. Plus the mentioned dates are roughly one month away so the wait wont be long. Beats paying 30sgd (i guess) for the shipping from bangkok / hattyai.

Hi there, i'm afraid i dont. I'm fairly a newbie in this tri-nation biking scene, plus i dont join groupies much, so pardon me. Are they from KL? I might recognise a few prominent bikers by face but not by name.

 

By the way, your username sounds familiar. Is there any chance you've heard of now-defunct spitfirebikers group?

my double stand is order from this website

and my crashbar i custom made myself, and send it for powder coating, chose orange to match my bike

 

but i had taken out the double stand as the clearance level of the bike is reduce due to the design..

but for those who dun corner so much, dun go off road, it would be good enough...

 

so many years already, and yet nobody bother to design a main stand for this bike... very disappointed.

its not as if there are no market for this bike, in the western side there are big group of the ER6N and versys rider that can benefit alot.

yeap, genting is nice too. just an hour's ride from my place. i could bring you thru the more popular ulu yam route instead of the usual karak highway. lol.

eh u see there is a space between the 9 and 80 at the ending of the address right,

remove the space and make it 980 and the page will load..
