Any Demerit points for near miss accidents?

Almost knocked into someone this morning, it was green light and i was turning right didnt see it was green man as i near the green man crossing i noticed her and jammed my brake only inches from hitting her...she spat out some vulgarities before taking down my plate number...if she reports to authorities will i get demerit points? reckless driving maybe?

actually no accident doesnt totally mean no case ba.... sway sway u do the same to a off duty tp officer, he/she might just go back office the next day and summon u rite?

 

lets say in ur case, she is a normal pedestrian, but she still can take down ur reg number and complain to tp later loh.. this can be done either by writing in or emailing.. I think thereafter tp will contact u to hear ur side of the story...

i think should be ok lah.. in singapore you want to make a complain very troublesome one.. unless she is those type of person who have nothing much to do... even she go complain and police want to take action also will take a very long time.. and most likely this kind of case nothing will happen one... so no worry at all bro... just be more careful for your future riding ot driving..

problem is, i wasnt riding, i was driving, an MID vehicle!.i been doing ration runs for 4 days straight only having 2hrs+ average of rest.furthermore i was fasting..that really affected my concentration and alertness....I have a feeling this will become big..yes i know how my MTWO likes to make issues like this big big coz he's always emphasizing on safety safety safety...

aiyah, MTWO all liddat one lah, my ol' mtwo also like to talk c.o.c.k. Used to have an inside joke where he would be preaching all the religions in sg. haha.

 

Bear in mind lah, peeps dont really like MID vehicles in the 1st place. And they don't understand what us drivers go through. All they think is "drive only what" Quite true lah, but then, driving at 50km/h, sometimes not even 50, plus no aircon or radio summore.

 

Besides, knowing how the SAF works, most probably you would get an earful, and thats it. SAF like to cover backside one:thumb:

Must becareful man. Why you nv go complain to your superiors. Say nv follow Training safety regulations. Drivers must have at least 4-6 hrs of rest.

MID? Most likely will be referred back to your unit as i do not think police have any juristiction over military vehicles. Perhaps you will have to sign a few extras or something but nothing serious as you manage to brake in time.
