From what I understand, bikeshops tends to give a lower price when "eating your bike" UNLESS you trade in for one in their shop. Just my two cents.

Try selling off your bike in the Used Bike Sale section... :goodluck:

First learn stand, then learn fly. Nature's rules biker-sans. Not mine...

i will suggest you do a bit of leg work yourself...

cos it will be better for the bike shop to 'assess' your bike so as to be able to give a good quote.

itink better not to sell to shop ):

let me put it this way, shop has to pay

1. Shop Rental

2. Mechanic's Pay

of cause they wont take in higher than private owners because they have earn a few hundreds from here and there to make up for the rental and pay right ?

you sell cheap to shop, they sell high. then the nxt owner buy high from them.. ): not very wuhua.

might as well sell in Used Bike Section , let yrself earn a little bit more and let the buyer earn some too ? (:

The most logical thing to do is to get a few quotes from bikeshops. Then try to sell off the bike to private buyers at or above the highest quote you receive from the bikeshops. Make sense?
