ya their stuffs is very cheap. footrest all this.. however helmet buy in sg la. LAB sell very cheap liao. jb helmet no PSB approve one.

B4 u head in to Jb to buy any parts, U shd check the price in singapore also.. Cuz Jb things may be cheap, but might not be that lasting.. So do ur homework first b4 u buy anything.. For helmet, I rather u buy in singapore..

ya, also wondering where's the place u guys are referring to as ah gua lane. what's the actual road/street name there and any kind soul can give directions from causeway?

hey veteran. i dunno whether this is the right ah gua lane ppl talk abt. but i believe its called jalan tun abdul razak. a long row of shophouses with bike and some car workshops. and also why i say its there coz there ARE a lot of ah guas hanging ard. if u in jb already..u see the shell station before the rd splits into many lanes. go to the one nearest to shell station.

the road is ascending and turning left like going to a flyover. then u just follow the main road....keep a lookout on ur left for the row of shophouses.

 

roughly thats how but i recommend following a fren along for safety. if not just go to the shop before shell station.

 

i also second what prego says. do ur homework coz for example.. 125z cover set is 200 rm but at lab cost abt $95..so no need waste ur fuel go far far la in this case. somemore helmet u might want to use for 2a or class 2 if u taking..need psb..not malaysian tick.

 

go jb if u want to service or change some parts like aftermarket footrest. much cheaper. eg S$45 battery here is 45 rm there. also beware of quality cheats.

FYI, some shop they ask their customer to help them the helmet from singapore and sell at a higher price in JB.. I've seen it before..

I only can say~ Cheap things no good... Good things no cheap... If your riding a Kup. Yea why not. But some other bike ah~ u better tink 1st... if the bike breakdown there n they dun have the equipment or parts there... i can only say good luck 2 u...
