Move out to Koh Samui: 11 April 2011 (Mon) TBC

Leaving for Simon's WIFE HOTEL: 16 April 2011 (Sat)

This touring will only be open to 400CC and above.

 

We will stay at Simon's WIFE hotel for 1 nites 2 days before moving out to Koh Samui.

 

We will stay at Koh Samui for 4 nights 5 days before going back to S.W.H. After we stay at S.W.H for 1 nights 2 day.

 

All this will reaffirm once the date nearer.

 

Closing Date for Entry: 31 Oct 2010

 

we will stay in a Beach resort at Koh Samui. Please do take note that the beach resort will be on the high side.

 

I have so far check on few resorts. Each resorts is able to share with 2 persons.

 

Once i have the pricing from the hotel side, I will post up here agaim.

confirmed, my rectifier is gone~

16.7V with riding at 80km/h.....

 

choing rectifier(RM10) really cant tahan.....

confirm wan to overhaul liao ar.. lol... sianz.. last sat washing bike and fixing my oiler, i think i accidentally pulled some wire.. now my temperature very funnny... normally will start at 35 degrees.. after that slowly gradually increase.. and my last time cruising at night temperature will be ard 87degrees... now when i warm up bike.. takes very long for the 35 degrees to come out.. after that the temperatute increases very fast.. last night crusing temperature was ard 97degrees at midnight.. anybody have any idea???

So as not to keep you in suspense you may wish to check your carb settings. The bike really doesn't care about the electrics so long as the spark cable is properly attached. You sound like me when I was running on super-lean settings. At low load there is no torque (= no heat buildup) but once you rev, lean conditions kick in and she cruises really hot on the highway.

 

Set carb mixture screw (left side of carb) 0.5 turn in clockwise, this will enrich mixture for greater low end torque and runs cooler when at high speed.

 

PM me if you want a free test ride & possible fix or at least visit Planet (Chong) for him to test. But I'm confident no need to change parts - I just need to hear the engine and I'll tune it properly in a minute.

 

Preparing for tomorrow sunrise convoy so sms me at 9327 0801 if you need me.

 

But oops it may be the VTR which is beyond my expertise (class 2b forever!!!!) but maybe, it may be a similar issue. After all, it is a petrol engine, no matter how big.

bro something very wrong with ur bike le, better find mechanic check it out. it cant be tat high for nite crusing speed. if i'm not wrong nite crusing temp shd be around 65-75 degrees..... urs is exceptionally high.... rite alex?
