well i dont have a main stand either, mines spec1 too.

i do the good old way of push-stop-spray. troublesome at times, but if you want your chain life x 2 then no choice.

 

i figure that at high speeds the oil drops definitely gets splattered further... its simple physics..... for city riding, you get to stop at traffic lights which means oil still flows. that probably explains why i guess
