Weather not worth it for some rubber burning anyways. Today was a super soaker :-/

 

yeah man..

 

It started drizzling at 10.30, but I went in anyways because I wouldn't want my trip to be wasted. Track was wet so didn't push much.

 

i think slightly earlier than that.. just that i earlier it was really light drizzle.. i would go for a session if it wasnt that heavy..

I think for the route can try Google "maps". Can plan route via Google "maps".

Track usage per-hour: 50RM (weekend); + 5rm entrance on sun (this 1 TBC, forgot is per bike or per person. anyway its just 5rm.. just go in and have some fun or take photos. :cheers:)

hi

no solid itinerary, rough guideline will be:

0745: meetup.

0745-0930: the messiest timeslot, we got to past customs, pump petrol, find makan, go PG, cool down, prepare for track.

0930-1230: depending on whether how many sessions we want to play.

1230-1330: buffer timing. you will know y when you go there.

1330: head back to find makan and then go home.

hi df, can confirm the status of the track outing?

 

where will the rally point be?

 

entry via woodlands or 2nd link?

 

can turn out in shirt and jeans?

 

what are the neccessary items?

e.g passport

R.M in $1 (toll fee?)

touch & go card

driving license

ok bro a question before i make up my mind, considering im using bt090 tyres, how many laps can i go? and when im done, are the tyres then unusable and need change?

it depends on how long you have used your tyres, tyre date of mfg, how hard you ride your bike etc. tyres have heat cycles. if its the same bt090 the last time i met you (which is a longggg time ago) then i advise you not to use it.

for those really into track and push their bikes, they will use their tyres for about 3 track sessions? i just go for a casual ride, so will use for about 6 track sessions within the 1st few months of the tyre change.

after track you still can use the tyres, unless yours already about to botak and compound is hardening.

lol.. okok that's good.

a session is an hour. how many laps you want to go its how fast you are. eg, you take about 3min to finish a lap, you can go about 20 laps, minus a 6min break you take, about 18 laps lo.

alot depends. many riders go faster, take longer breaks, etc.

since u mentioned that this will be your virgin track session.. I assume you are not going to push too hard.. If it's only for experience and exposure, your tires shouldn't be a problem. Play within your limits and u r safe. I will be going on a pair of tyres which I have used for 5 track sessions, 1 touring trip and 4 months of road use. Go slow if in doubt..

2 were with us.. then another one came over to talk to us while 1 of them went out for 2nd round.. not sure what he was wearing though..
