I'm looking to access and respond to my work email using the phone ocassionally.

My office email server uses IMAP mail server. A cheap (and good) one will do. I don't need a super duper high end one.

Anyone model to recommend? :)

Cheap and (good) .ai ji ai pi..cost is relative. features and coverage should also be considered. Pocket PC and Blackberry devices are a start. Starhub has the best in terms of Blackberry service and coverage (can use POP and IMAP). Can also get online mail service (yahoo, gmail etc) push down to your device - no extra cost. Preowned devices are good start for 'cheap and good' -

other considerations

bluetooth (for future helmet and gps intercomm)

good megapix camera (no need for tua kong camera)

Otherwise end up with many devices to bring on bike

Receive office mails ??- sometime they spoilt my mood when I on holiday

i reccomend E61i

cheap and good

a little more to spend ? try P1i then

IMO if u are using a phone for work purpose, ignore other functions other than work features like email and compatability to work documents and other email related issues (including camera)

and lastly, screw windows mobile if u are a heavy email user

Thanks Stargate and Josean for your suggestions. :thumb:

My brother's got a iPhone from Apple. I haven't got a chance to play with it.

But I love the feature of scrolling around simply by running your finger along the screen! :thumb:

Go for BlackBerry 9000, or if you prefer smaller size, the 9700 Bold 2 :)

Both comes with 3G and 3.5G respectively.

Push Mail on the go.

BlackBerry. All their handheld models do email.

Irregardless of what BlackBerry model you buy, you will get an internet website for you to configure your email(s). Emails get pushed to your BlackBerry.

Supports POP + IMAP + Outlook Web Access, or even your companies' BlackBerry Enterprise Server if they have one.
