Dunno about CDC, BBDC provides the elbow and knee guards. Remember wearing it only for a few lessons/practicals..

Dunno about CDC, but at BBDC it is a must to wear long sleeve.. Some girls wear tank tops/t-shirts and then wear a cardigan/jacket over it... and once lesson over, they'll take off the cardigan/jacket to cool off..

Icic, I think i'll just wear long sleeve for the first time, then observe the others. Haha. Monkey see, monkey do..

Life's a climb, but the view is great..

ssdc must wear the elbow and knee guards for all the lessons... including class 2a and 2

but for tp test elbow and knee guards are optional

And here is some extra tips which you all can consider.

1. If you got the cash and the time. Try booking your practicals in the morning, then you rests for lunch, then try to book for slots after lunch. So you can hopefully clear two practicals or lessons per day. Your body will also better remember the posture and the mistakes you made in the morning lesson, and you will get better focus to correct it during the afternoon.

2. Try to schedule your appointments with family or friends at least two hours after your finish any practicals. Because even if you do the pracs at night, you are still going to sweat and stink in our sg horrid weather. At least go home, take a shower before you go out to meet people.

3. Have some talcum powder handy, they are useful for dusting your hands before you wear gloves. For rainy days, baby oil or tube like petroleum jelly prefers your hands from getting too wrinkly under wet gloves.

4. Dont bring too big a bag or too many barang barang. It either will not fit into the lockers, or you might have left your wallet in the bag, in the locker, and its pain in backside to get things out to buy a meal or a machine dispensed drinks. Plus have to pay extra just to keep your stuff in the locker again.

5. Same with jewellery and watches. Try not to wear too faniciful stuff. Cos if you fell, those stuff sure will ganna scratch or break. That will also include your Armani gucci sunglasses......

Can.. any gloves also can.. and yes bobian must wear long sleeve, else suffer wearing their raincoats - I know BBDC do that dunno if other centres also "punish" that way. and if didnt wear covered shoes, they make you wear their PCK boots..

I saw at Cash Converters (AMK branch) selling "motorcycles gloves" at mere $2 a pair.. didnt check the quality though. But find that it looked so 110% better then the durian gloves.

Haha.. Good luck to all babes taking license~~

Hmm... come to think of it, at SSDC i saw two cases of girls who wore sleeveless tops wearing (1)SSDC T-shirt (2)Raincoat

But this was few years ago lah...

If you are friends with an instructor can put your valuables in his/her locker... free one... haha

I bring a big bag full of barang to my lesson lol... but I carry all the valuables in the bag on my body.

Just a handphone in a handphone pouch, with a folded $50 note and a credit card inside, and I put it in my pocket during the lesson.

The thieves can help themselves to my petrol cards, catfood, old receipts, water bottle, etc lol.

still got time to buy the cheapo durian gloves.. hee.. dun fret la.. can borrow also from one of us.. you taking at where?

i juz finish work. no time buy gloves. :(

i taking at bbdc. prac is at 8am.

I always used to carry a fanny pack. In it is my barang barangs so I never need to use the lockers. Helmet can just carry on the hand, or in a helmet bag with the gloves & booklet for class.

But with most girls now carrying their laptop, netbooks, psps or whatever, it sometimes really need to use a locker.

Another reasoning why I suggested waterbottle.

When you take water from the dispenser, after you are done with the water, can pour out the water to wash your hands at the grass or shrubs.

Its not polite to be washing your hands at the water dispenser machine.

And soemtimes going to the toliet, need to pay cents which is a hassle if you dont have coins on your body.

And yah, making friends with the instructors is a good thing.

They can monitor you better and advise you better. Like, which point near which lamp post you should turn your head. Which marking on the circuit you should change lane better or get a better turning position.

Besides the 'use their locker for free'....

worst come to worst smile sweetly and borrow from instructor... but might have instructor smell la...

but in the morning you can probably buy durian gloves from the school la...

if night session then the stall might not be open... but 8am should be fine la

perhaps you girls can opt to get arm socks then... I have a few of my own that my mom helped me buy from JB.. cheap cheap good good..

Can also get from Far East or L.A.B., I think selling between $8-$15... depending on design and quality.. In JB is probably RM10 those better quality RM12-RM15.

I have one green colour arm sock (wool material) to give away, let me know if you girls interested to get it off me..

Yeah I agree. Like me, always bring my precious camera with me lol. And my valuables all inside. Haiz.. my iphone cannot put pocket la.. too big. And there's this worry for me that if I buang or fall down.. then my hp inside my pocket also crack or spoil..

So I everytime also use the locker.. $1 each time.. like pay ERP like that :D

Some sell cheap2 good2.. so just grab.. and yes good ones come with sizes although most of them comes in free size - which is often too loose for me.. haha.. I'm giving away some of my arm socks coz rarely use.. 2 pairs i use only once..

then again some cheap2 good2 ones the elastic band may get loose after wearing a few times..
