Hi guys. Nice to know there is a DV thread here. Thought it a rare bike on the road.

 

I am currently looking ard for a good commuter bike.

Not too soft to ride as I am addicted due to previous ride (FZ1)).

Understand that DV is a friendly bike to ride on, just worry she does not have enough power to overtake during lane change. FC wise should be good.

Anyone care to share on this beauty. There is a DV 700 for sale at $10k, mileage less than 25k km, 2008 batch, worth taking?

How much are they charging you to repair and repaint your fairing?

 

Might be cheaper to buy a new set of fairing on Ebay. You can get a full set of new replica front and side fairings for about S$700 excluding shipping. Go to Ebay and search for cwc-carswantschange.

 

The side panels can be bought second hand on Ebay as well. I have been thinking of replacing my fairing as all of them are cracking but the cost and effort involved is putting me off.

It's a reasonable price for a 5 year old bike and has relatively low mileage. I was considering upgrading my NT650V1 to this but would prefer a bike with ABS for my next bike. It's good commuter bike with enough power to overtake in most cases, but don't expect the power of a FZ1, low maintenance (shaft drive) and lots of storage with 2 panniers and a top box.

Thought I saw a NTV700 with a very nice plate number of Fxx 700 in one of the more famous bike shops along Bukit Merah Lane.

 

Wonder if it used to belong to one of you here??
