Tat sounds good.. Cos without the fairing I feels the ride is more stable at higher speed.. Duno why.. Lol

currently bike held together by duct tape.. work in progress to cover up the missing / broken parts around the bike using epoxy

 

hmm rode at around 140km/h up to kl.. dun seem to destabilise the bike.. no cooling prob

I went up to around 170 then I eased on throttle. . My balls not that big haha

I went at slower speed to KL, 130km/h coz I feel the bike cruise nicely at that speed, still waiting for my flip windshield to come b4 I go faster as e wind blast to e helmet is tiring...

Hit 195km/h with no issues also but don dare go faster, just testing to full throttle, haha... And my maxia sticker flew off after that from my box, sian...

This is where I wish I could have done some changes to my previous Deauvilles. Both have of them didnt have good latch lock. at one point i was thinking , just removed both side boxes as they didnt work (lock spoit) and put small givi side box. but i was worried that may spoil the look of the bike but i just saw this DV 700 that was parked near Jurong Point where one of the side covers was removed.

i have also seen many DV where the front panel were removed leaving it almost naked.

for mine 1 of the 2 latches for the right side pannier can't be locked alr but the other one still works, went up KL and back and it didnt opened halfway, however might intend to drill near e damaged latch and just diy a normal metal latch (can be lockable/non-lockable) and that shld solve the problem for me.. But same issue as u said, will e extra latch/lock spoilt the overall looks of the bike, haha

Dont bother going first motor.. had bad experience with them.. 4 months and almost nothing was done. .

stock side box cant store helmet, but u can buy e wide pannier lid from UK and it will fit... If not is just top box only....

Noted... Gotten a quote from Poland for brand new fairings and it cost around $600 after shipping but without paint... Most likely I am gona get a plastic repair kit and DIY weld everything up myself, den sent for a paint job or spray myself, hope it works, will update here again
