Anyone know how much is the new Deauville OTR with COE and Road Tax, but before insurance? Very tempting to upgrade from my NT650V1.

With the current sky high coe for bikes... it gona be a rocket price mate...

BTW... managed to change to a simota air filter for my Deauville with some modifications...

as no major brands make after-market air filter for our bikes (NT650V) we are struck with non washable ori or oem air filter. I used back the current filter base plate. tore out the paper. Put Simota Air filter element ( fr CB400). Silicion & secured the gaps... remove the back metal mesh plate (optional).

Voila!!! I got a washable filter. Save the environment & $$$ on the long run :) hahahaha

Gents, if anyone is looking to sell a deauville, please let me know. I've long wanted a shaft drive bike, and find the ST a little too big for Singapore roads.

Thanks!

Hi all, I left the biking scene in 2006 and is now back with a old NT650V3, bought recently. The bike requires a few repairs as well as accessories replacement. Am glad that this thread is alive and looking forward to get to know more friends here. For a start, any recommendations if I wish to change my windscreen as well as to mend some body cracks. Thanks

Hi ,

I need some help. My deauville idling will drop till engine stall after travelling for 15mins. Everything is fine when i start cold and after riding for 15mins, as long as i clutch in, the engine will stall even when I'm at 80km/hr on 5th gear. I can't stop at traffic light w/o throttling. Visited a mechanic who can't seem to fix it and he just increases the idlin. (eventually still stall). Anyone knows what might be the problem or could recommend a mechanic?

Thanks

Might be a fuel pump issue. Contact on the fuel pump may be worn out and needs replacing. If you are mechanically inclined you can buy and replace the part on the fuel pump.

This website shows you how to remove the fuel pump. http://www.elsham.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/deauville/fuel-pump/

You can buy the fuel pump repair kit from these websites.

http://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/NT650V2-DEAUVILLE-2002/part_141033/

http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/honda/nt_650_v2_v3_v4_deauville/02-04/picture/fuel_pump_repair_kit_-_point_switch/

To increase the life span, you can also modify the fuel pump by adding a diode. This involves some soldering. I think I have some spare diode if you need some, but have to search for it. http://hankeln.net/freizeit/nt650v5/fuelpump-diode_en.html

I had the same problem, after replacing the fuel pump switch and installing the diode, the problem went away.

Otherwise get your mechanic to replace the fuel pump. You can try my mechanic, Ah Siong, 97774O33 or 8435 OO81. He will come to your home to fix the problem as he lost his shop due to rising rent. He has been servicing my Honda Deauville for more than 12 years. Tell him the Greem Deauville in Pasir Panjang recommended you.

If you can live with the problem, don't allow the fuel to fall below half tank. If it stalls, wait about 5-10 minutes before starting the bike again to give time for gravity to pull the fuel through the fuel pump into the carberator. The problem for me used to occur when the fuel was low or when I first move off after parking and the engine is consuming more fuel than gravity is feeding into the fuel pump.

Parts are available on Ebay, but not cheap.

I have a very good condition original windscreen from my NT650V1. Can let go to you at a reasonable price.

I've replaced the fork suspension cap and seal in Unique MotorSports. They really provided fast response and good service...

I'm looking around for the flip out underseat hooks that you can hook your bungee cords on to. For some reason, I'm missing the right side. Anybody got lobang?

Or anyone want to get rid of the hooks below your seat? :)

Hi All,

I recently saw some guys selling NT650. But the bike is 14-16 years old. I am quite interested in this bike but I do not know anything about this bike. Anyone wanna share anything about this bike?

What to look out for when buying?

The maintenance cost?

The fuel consumption?

I am taking my class 2 TP next next week after like 5 years.

Want to know more about those bike i am interested in before buying.

Thank all in advance.

Hi all.

I have a friend by the name of Ah Guan. He has a 2013 Deauville NT700V for sale as it is underutilise.

His mileage is only 7,000 + Km as he seldom rides. He can be contacted at 90091960
