furthermore...box n rack get at jb ah boy cheaper??

Rm300 shld get u a pair of color spoky rims of your choice + Michellin tires.

I believe any aftermarket shocks will be better dan the stock one.

Box and rack r definitely cheaper in jb. Juz fyi, a micro2 cost RM100 in jb.

RM201 to RM299 = RM200+

So to quote more is better dan to quote lesser. In case he did not bring in enuff money.

In most cases, ppl will use back the original hub.

And in some cases, they will spray a fresh coat of paint over it to suit the new rims. This cost money as well.

i think the mechanic never fix for u properly izzit that's why it knocks against ur side tailboard...well tong pipe not worth it lor....cos nowadays tp always catch wave and rxz one...so obvious if u tong pipe...well decision is up to u lor...just need to prepare 500 bucks in ur bank account then save liao...:bouncefire:

SO many people want to mod their wave to be 'POWERFUL'.

My reminder to your guys...is to always remember the basic design of the Honda wave is to be CHEAP,ECONOMICAL,SIP PETROL, RELIABLE.

Of course you can MOD your wave as you wish. But the power gains are not going to be fantastic. Most likely, your mod will only make your bike more powerful than the next waves beside you at the red light junction. However, your wave will still lose out to the Yamaha125z, RXK, KKR, SP, etc...

Ok..here come the MOD for wave.

1) Remove the air filter completely, don't even bother to use K&N foam filter. Just leave the air inlet completely clear.

2) Change the carburator to a bigger one. Remember to tune it properly.

3) Change the rear sprocket to a bigger one, more teeth. It will increase your acceleration power off the red light sprint.

4) Reduce all unnecessary weight on your bike, remove the basket, remove the givi box, remove the tool kit, remove the two mirrors, remove the fairing, remove the battery(use kick start), remove the kick start pedal(use push start), remove the rear passenger foot pegs, remove the silver hand-hold on the seat, stick with original rims(lighter than sport rims).

5) Upsize your piston to 150cc(can be done in JB easily)

6) Openup your exhaust pipe. Change to a sport one if got money.

Last of all...go exercise your body and slim down as much as possible, to reduce the weight the bike has to carry everyday.

Good luck guys.

 i agree....

but the thing that u said abt upgrading the piston to 150cc??

I think it should be changing the engine capacity to 150cc rite?

btw, where to get it done in JB and how much it costs? i have left my bike totally stock except for suspensions, i think this is engine mod is gonna be good since it should theoretically increae torque and power just by a bit...but i wanna know if the price is worth while for this mod. :cheeky:

maybe the suspension coil too big already?

sekali he go cut part of yr fairing to fit the suspension in

:cheeky:

tong pipe doesnt really help much i think...only got the sound nia...more kick! :p

alternatively...u can try drill one or 2 holes along the exhaust...

it doesnt sound as loud as tong pipe especially if u dont go and zhua the bike

last time my wave w/ a drilled hole in pipe stopped at traffic light w/ ROV bike

when light turned green...i slowly move off and dint luan zhua...the ROV only bio my bike then overtake me liao
