so far i didn't know anything about air filter, cos i was told that my kriss got no air filter... i don't know i should believe it or not, ahah.. anyway for chain should be below RM20, for this price should can get quite good one already. last time i change my spocket and chain together cost me RM38 inclusive of workmanship.. by the way they can anyhow say that the parts are original for honda, how they verify? by the way last time i change my drum brake, i was told that the original brake pad is better, what it means by "Original"? funny sia, my kriss original brake pad is a Suzuki RGV brake pad! some more last time when i change my oil filter, the boss said if you want good one is RM10, normal one is RM6, what's the difference? i think when the filter go in, end up still soak with the oil? only the price difference bah! sometimes they will quote you with 2 prices, say if you want good one pay for higher price, but actually maybe they will take out the same thing from their store and sell you with the higher price AS YOUR REQUEST!

haha

then how abt request to see both of the items?

Changing drum brake --->to disc brake is costly. Fully covered chain guard makes your chain last longer! In the end it's individual preference. Just my opinion.

air filter sure to have right? if not dirty air will go in ur carb

but i really don't know where is it leh... i also think that by logic should have if not all the dirt go inside my carb already.... yesterday i just saw a wave parking near my bike, but i can't figure out where is the oil filter.... but anyway, i don't know where is the air filter too...

What he said is partly true. This applies mostly to 4-stroke bike such as bigger 400CC bikes where there is still engine oil in the filter. Don't get it wrong. For wave im not sure if there is oil filter, but if there is, then what he says is true. Pouring the whole bottle in might cause an overflow of engine oil. This happens to rxz which is 600cc of engine oil. If a full 1 litre is poured in, engine oil will overflow and would be visible near the exhaust header. I have no experience with wave to confirm anything. :goodluck:

i don't know how true is that, but for my kriss must pour 1 litre, for RXZ 600ml pour 1 litre of course will overflow lah, i think if 800ml still can take it lah, at most overflow a bit only.

dont ride the bike too fast and dont over rev the bike during run-in then can liao lor

changing to discbrake involves quite a lot of work...so i supposed the cost would also be not too cheap...but it sure looks nice after the change! have seen one blue wave w/ rear brake disc conversion...nice looking brake disc + lottsa yellow color tubes ard...looks complicated

but bad thing would be not sure if brake disc conversion will become a problem when it comes to annual inspections

anyway...the original chainguard can cover the whole chain up well can prevent dirt + rainwater etc frm getting to the chain...so doesnt really need to lube chain that often compared to other bikes

if change to aftermarket chainguard...may end up u need to do chain lubing more frequently...but looks nicer lar..haha :goodluck:

wah

chimz

but thought if excessive usage the brakepad would also heat up etc rendering the brake effect less effective as well?

not only the braided line would be affected mahz?
