I m using a white bulb bought in malaysia. RM12 for one bulb.

I am using it as normal. Nothing melted and it works normally.

wat's the diff between EFI n carb version? just the mileage? if so how much difference..1 full tank is ard 4 litres rite..can go how far?

 

i dun understand how clutchless work? like ok when moving, other bike can still kick gear w/o clutching in...but when moving off how to? i imagine that when i kick gear 1 it will stall immediately?

 

can i put a box big enuff for 2 open face helmets with a jacket n some barang?

 

wat's the best deal for it now, 1st hand or 2nd hand?

hey guys.....i just managed to squeeze 185km on my last full tank.....

very shocked as it usually finished around 145-150km....

btw anyone noes where to change handlebar cos tat time i accident now 1 side higher than the other....veri ackward sia riding

so anyone decided when wanna meet up 4 kopi or something?seems like so quiet everytime someone tries to organise....

hope someone org soon cos damn bored ah.....

Brightness improved slightly. When idling, it is very dull, jus like a normal bulb.

But when moving or in rev, the brightness will increase.

 

I m only using a 35W white bulb. I heard there are some higher voltage which is brghter. maybe i will try it after this bulb burst.

 

But i dun think it will melt, cos my friend's sp didn't. And i believe the material wun be much of an difference.

wats the thickness of the rims you guys change to ah?and wat the biggest tyre size for the michelin pilot sporty tat they have?

cos mine is both 70/90 and kinda small ah and scary when i corner cos tyres too slim for me....

dunno whether there's any bros here riding the efi model..

best if test urself and have a feel how it works ...

for me i put my raincoat in the ubox under the seat and use e33 box to put both my helmets..

got the cash it's always best to get new one... cos 2nd hand quite difficult to get if have, it's quite ex

hrmz...EFI and carb main difference = way fuel is fed to the engine lor

not exactly sure how much difference in mileage though...dont really have much of bros here who ride a EFI

1 tank for carb model = anything frm 120-160km and in some extreme cases..like 185km as mentioned by fazli

 

clutchless system actually isnt really that different frm conventional clutch system

u still close throttle to change gear

juz that now...u can stop at any gear (gear 1 to 4) and the bike wont stall

and u can move off at any gear also....juz a difference of how strong or weak the pickup will be

so basically the neutral gear for the clutchless system is really not much of use except when parking lor

 

u can get a box big enough to fit 2 helmets

but pls also remembr that there's a utility box storage underseat as well...i use that space big enough for me to keep my chainlube..washing cloth...1 set of jacket + my tools

 

to me..best deal for bike in terms of price would always be 2nd hand

less depreciation in value overtime

35W isnt really that much higher than the original 32W bulb

so i guess dat's the reason why it dint melt

not bad...can consider getting one also....

anybody knows where to get those posh hook that can be screw at the front of the bike? those that can hang kopi one....

tried to locate a shop at serangoon last time sell alot of wave things one.. but now no more there... think close down liao.

how much does that hook cost by the way? how to differenciate the real and the chiong thing?

Jus got my Wave recently. Still running in. I managed to travel 190km using a full tank of petrol. Travelled at an average speed of 70kph.

 

I know a lot of the Wave riders here won't travel at that speed but as mentioned, I'm running in. Actually how much dist u can travel with a full tank varies with yur average speed.

 

I would like to find out who knows of good suspension for the front? Can name the brand, model, cost n place to buy?

 

Regarding the outing, how abt meeting at Kallang KFC? It's more centralize, most ppl knows where it is, big car park for all Wave riders to admire each other's mod. If all agrees, pls start by inserting yur nick n contact num.

for my efi the mileage about 160km for full w/o hitting reserve @ 80 - 100 km/hr, but of course, which was mentioned earlier it all depends on the speed u're travelling, but even still +,- a bit only. for me it doesn't really matter since everytime i only pay $3-$4 for petrol, who cares...

Maybe u can try DUNLOP TT900 80/90-17 front n back. like rxz already!
