engine start n engine oil where got link? i think easy to start or not is more affected by wat type of plug u using n setting of ur bike n how hot or cold ur engine is. engine oil only lubricate ur piston n gears only mah.

I start my wave in morning with choke opened (cos first time start with choke closed, the engine sure die one). After engine start, close choke, engine will die off after a while. So i open throttle and blow blow, maintain for a while then engine will not die off.

 

But the whole process like so ley chey n time-consuming....last time i press starter 1 time and the wave will start already without dying off...don't know why now can't already...as if the settings changed already. By who? by the vibrations of the bike?? I also don't understand..

hi peepz out there ... i decided to get a wave and sell my sp .. i know there is 1 newer wave which is black in color and sharper headlights ... any difference or only the colors and headlights? and yah wats the market rate for 1st hand wave ?? roguh idea? and where is the cheapest and low interest rate ?? and can 500 be use for downpayment and the rest installments ... or how much will be needed to get a wave out ?? peepz out there advice me ..

most of the time i dont need to open my choke when i start my bike in the morning... but when i need to, i just open choke, start the bike one time, let the bike idle awhile and close back the choke.... warm up abit and ready to go

the newer version shld be the fuel injection model (wave-i) but not sure whether it has sharper headlight... mebe the one u saw is diff model

how it really helps to make engine easier to start i not sure liaoz

but after using castrol r4 on my prev 2 bikes w/o changing of spark plug

they really became easier to start

warming up is bo bian one marhz

so more or less muz spend some time to do that in e morning

haha..last time i also did dat

managed to halve my petrol money but as for money on engine oil, spark plug etc..remained unchanged

money for repairs yet to fork out any even by the time i sold my wave

anyway the black color wave u saw could either be the fuel injection model or the newer version of the carburettor wave

damn ... i passed my 2a today ... feeling very itchy to get S4 ... but abit budget so thinking of wave ... any1 knows the OTR price for a new wave?

hahaha...my wave is also abit sick....the engine oil is about 4000km...liao...havnt got time to go change yet.....the gear also always alot of sound and getting louder....but this friday im taking off to go try out the motor tiam at tampines....wanna join?!

u may go & try bike production...my fren juz bought a 2nd wave there...

he say new wave its abt 3.8k compare wif other shop its the cheapest..

other shop selling new version wave for 3.8k without insurance & wave i

its about 4.7k otr....

i change the oil every 2k to 3k la...

well, now cant really enjoy liao......skidded the wave on the way back in the evening at CTE....if anyone saw a couple lying on the floor, thats me n wife.....

 

now the whole of right arm and leg in bandage....so still have to send the wave in...but now kena major operation lah....cos the front number plate rosak liao....also...the brake like no power liao....sigh....

 

but no worry, wife n me is ok....just superficial wound....

 

actually before that already saw 2 cars collide, 1 motor also skidded....but was on the 1st lane, didnt see his bike clearly, hope he is ok....who knows....5mins...my turn....knn....will be real careful next time....sigh....only got my 2b for 6mths.....

bring it to some motordiam which is u trust instead of simply sending to it any rojak shop

heard of pple who's repair bill got jack up so high by black motordiamz that he have problem paying for the bill later

but hafta lan lan and pay..cause repair work already done
