Oh yah. Forgot to add. White bikes less horsepower. Read sumwhere thats its a few BHP lower. I remember an old forumer came out with the analysis plus all the supporting facts. U gotta read suwmere from page 300++

 

Really? As in white suzuki gsrs or white colour bikes in general =X... Does it have something to do with reflecting the sun's heat therefore engine runs in a less than optimum temperature, haha...

Wah Hero 200km/h++. Juz dun blow the engine hahhaha. Do note that the Speedo got error of +/-10% (stock, once change sprocket, error increase tremendously). Mine is +7% speedo error. Till today dunno if wanna correct this error or not hahahah.

speedo error? tat one i dunno la.. cos i ride beside honda civic with digital meter.. when i was 100kmh then the car side by side is the same 100kmh... if motor meter is same as car mean the speedo meter is tremendously sheavy compare to bikes! so i do think is accurate!

Yes it does exist...since the bike speedo is taken via engine and not the wheel. Well if yours is accurate good for you. This is useful when going into places of "unwanted" desires where Radar guns are usually used. If the speedo is not accurate, you may have already gone above the limit without knowing and thus be provided a ticket in the process.

 

You may wanna do a recalibrate with a GPS coz who knows the civic also not accurate hahaha. The most accurate is to let White Ants to clock with their "super fast guns". That's the best coz in the end, they will be using it on you hahhaha.

Please note that all vehicle got error. Be it digital or analog. One way to get the real speed is to match it with a GPS. Jap cars and bike do have a little tendency to have a +/- 10% error. Look around and you will find out. European vehicles are less prone to this. I wonder why. Maybe initial D got something to do with it that forces manufacturers to have a lower speed but showing higher to make the driver happy. :cheeky:

the stock gearing has a speedo error of not sure how many percent. i did a run with GPS to recalibrate my speedo and found this out:

 

bike = 107kmh

GPS = 100kmh

 

if you dont have GPS, you can try clocking your speed at the Lentor ave SLE exit. but can only clock up to 70kmh cos the bend is very dangerous above 70. try at your own risk!

 

or another way, politely ask a TP to follow you and clock your speed using his on-board speed gun. i believe they can be liberal.

whereas mine has friction-less 40L Hepco and becker.

Haha. You are wrong. Its because i got a 35L box and you have got the extra 5L to boost your power. Take out the boxes. Maroon bikes also slower. due to the air water humidity and feng shui factor. Air flow over maroon got a dragging factor.
