Why Wait for MOTO....., Unique have oeady liao,4 colours.hmmm attractive

Suzuki GSR400/600 Stainless Steel: $1100

Suzuki GSR400/600 Titanium: $1200

Suzuki GSR400/600 Titan Blue: $1350

Suzuki GSR400/600 Metal Magic: $1300

sumore can pay installment.haiyaaaaaaaa

=)

Does that price include inspection and all? If not, its the same price as MW hahha. I think next batch will be in December rite? So order now to avoid disappointments!!! hahahah

Another friendly advice.

If possible and within budgetary means, try choosing a material that is not so hot after extended riding.

Titanium sure looks nice and strong but first few owners ever mentioned its too hot to touch during a ride and has consequences for pillions. Same goes for stainless steel.

Too bad no CF for Yoshi. Aluminium also not bad and not too hot.

CF Yoshi have they call it Metal Magic. Dun ask me y they call they. Maybe kena 'bomoh' then from metal become black like CF. hahahha

Too bad most have taken blue flame titanium. ahhahah

when is the exact date they bring in the yoshi?

The latest date that they gave is December 2009. BUT all are reserved for those who booked. MW says they do not bring in many at any one time.

So best for you to book and reserve a slot.

That you need to ask Unique. The authorized agent is still MW for Yoshi. Unless they parallel import in.

Flip a coin and go bro. Dun tell me we need to tell u which 1 to go to? Do your own investigation ah. Ask around when they come in. Maybe Unique already order a set of 5 and no one book yet. Then your lucky day.

Yeah.

The MW sales guy showed it to me before.

Didn't remember it was CF. Looked more like some new alloy.

Its a metal that magically appear black hahahah. The 'bomohs (witchdoctors)' have done their part.

Not happy with exhaust? How about re-wrap? heheheh

I can see from the webby that there is a pattern to this. It seems like those with underseat exhausts do not have carbon cover pattern. Coule it be due to some design issue?

well i see R1 has it...

The price difference it not that great between Titan and CF. Could it be weight issue??? If too light exhaust might fly off??? Maybe to manufacture/mold difficult??? Maybe small market, cannot sell easily??? In the end, only Yoshimura will know.

Anyway I think if heat is a concern, I think best to bring Heat-Shield blankets where ever you go. Then If got pillion, just cover the exhaust over. hehehe Ohh ya pillion please wear jeans and not shorts of skirts hahahha.

I read that titanium do produce heat but not till can burn you. So I hope its not that bad. How about metal magic? Cannot find anything about heat thingy.

So far my short research shows Stainless Steel is the best for durability and CF best of coolness. At the other end of the spectrum, Stainless Steel tends to get hot easily and CF is quite brittle (not recommended for those that always fall off).

CF is not that brittle as you would think under normal circumstances.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reinforced_carbon-carbon

While reinforced CF is not the same as CF pipes, the basic ability of CF is applicable in high heat situation, including nose cones for ICBM missiles where they are subjected to intense atmosphere re-entry temperatures.

What you should NOT do with CF pipes is do a thermal wrap on the headers.

That will cause the CF end cans to overheat beyond the tolerance point.

Stainless steel is quite strong but its quite as hot when used.

Aluminium seems to offer the nicest compromise when comes to heat and weight. But its not as strong as titanium.

If everyone is worried about heat, consider a 3M hard CF wrap from Juzz Wheelz. I think it will make the pipe look damn nice and removes the heat-y issue.

I wonder how much it would cost to make Reinforced Carbon Carbon....is the cost x2 or more the price of CF? heheheh

Its beyond your current means.

Hahahaa!

You can try weave something using carbon nanotubes.

http://www.diytrade.com/china/4/products-list/0-k-c-1/Carbon_nanotubes.html

Order a good amount and get a good weaver to do it for you.

What you get is an immensely strong CF skin that durable and heat resistant.
