im still taking time to get used to the little things about the bike. i really love the huge increase in power over my previous 2b.

 

is there a recommended range of speeds for each gear to tackle? like gear 1, 10-30, gear 2 30-40km/h so on and so forth.

Hi, since 2a bike is totally diffrent from 2b bike, I got a question, let say I need to wait for someone for at lease 5 to 10mins, should I switch off the engine or let it running?? Isit good to frequent on & off the engine??

The Real Question really boils down to,How long can you take the Heat ?my opinion is just turn it off when you think waiting is at hand,i dun see the need to let the engine run for 10 mins & being stationary unless you are warming up a cold engine.Nah The Starter will definitely dies off one day for sure,normal wear and tear.btw it is there for a reason to start your motor mah!!! hehe cheers Bro!!!

If u feeling rich and u like the heat... Of cos u can leave it on... Hehhehe.. But just switch it off. No point wasting fuel.

 

If u talking about immediately on and immediately off and on and off and on and off... Of course thats gonna be an issue... Starter motor and battery strained... But if u let it rest in between.. Then its within its normal working parameters.

Used to have this problem with my last ride... key can push in, hard to turn on(ignition)... also when turn off... hard to pull it out ... (sounds like dog making l**e ...hahaha) .... so what I did was to use WD-40 and with some pushing in and out of the key action... and wah lah ... it's back to normal.

 

For my current baby GSR, I have not such problem yet because I am spraying a little bit of the GT-84 into the keyhole(when doing my monthly metal parts maintenance) and sometimes WD-40 also.

 

Was told by Racewerkz guys that have to lub the starter motor's contact point which is located on the right of your bike(under the fuel tank) and it looked like a half a size of a cola can.. the contact point is at the top of the "can"... dunno if you guys are doing also the same? Beside that... I just "Hantum" with the GT-84 if I see anything that is metal... footrest... side stand... levers... handle bar... fork bar... etc...

 

oh great.. read this info too late..

my ignition key stuck already can't turn ON or even lock handle bar. Haiz.. looks like i have to tow to shop how much u guys think it will cost eh for that whole ignition panel or wat u call it... expecting $$$ flying soon
