Make time so can read the manual carefully hehehehe

Ya lor best to retune again. Anyway how to do you (Not referring to Dervin only) know the shop will do a good job with the tuning? Tuning to me should be done by urself. Reason, you are the one riding the bike and not the machine. I'd prefer butt tuning method.

Did that before. I tune using BLR Icon2. Went for a Power run on the dyno machine. The curve was straight as hell, no flat spot. Hahaha. My butt did the job well. You will see those trackies will go round and round the track to get the best values for their Air-Fuel Controllers.

Then again I must warn you (Again not referring to Dervin only).....MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WAT U R DOING. Doing it wrongly will or may harm the engine or yourself.

Not necessarily. You can mod it urself. Only that the TRE mod won't be nice looking hahaha. There are lots of information on the internet about this. Juz need to map to Gear 6. Acceleration will not be so much. Anyway not going for race...so its ok with me. haahah

is it the same as what bro lexanez has on his bike?

Just meet at 1pm so me and Lex can set up base of operations first? i need to open up my headlight. High beam not working. Hopefully just the high beam bulb or the fuse is blown and not the wiring connection is shorted out.

Anyway, does anyone know where to get Osram nightbreaker plus for a good price in Singapore? Autobacs is overpriced i heard.

This is a shop I frequent for my engine oil and other stuff for the car. They carry Osram but not sure if its the best price. Just to share with everyone.

Judging from the illustration of the night breaker plus, it's seems that the light throw and brightness like better than my HID with ballast

GSR has a reflector type of headlamp casing. Not good for HID. Best to switch back to normal halogen bulbs. I've been there, done that on my GSR before. Caused too much glare I had to lower the beam. HIDs works best with projector type headlights, for example R1, the new tmax 530 etc etc.

rien d'autre que le max.

Guess majority of the people who puts hid are those with reflector head lights too, my main concern are actually the light throw and the focus to the floor and I know white light can't achieve it better than yellow lights

The cheapest i saw is $25 per bottle, is that the one ur referring to? Mxtrading sells it for $28. I just bought last week from mx as i stay in the east. Too far for me to go the $25 dollar shop.

I bought my h4 white halogen from the White Light CMO dude at only $15 bucks for a pair. Looks pretty ok to me lol. But then again this is my first time using halogen light, not really sure what to expect. Maybe can decide once i've tried a few. So far so good.

SMLJ! The thread so active?!

Anyway, TREs aren't really that important. The Gi-Pro is yeah, bout $280 from Motoworld. Equipment Extreme do bring in Healtech products too.

Like what Razi said, if you are willing to experiment, it is possible to bypass standard gear-mappings without the use of X-TRE or Gi-Pro ATRE.

Good bulbs will not last as long as lousier ones but the light throw and intensity is unmatched, would rather get a good yellowish bulb such as the Osram Nightbreaker.

Lights at MBS and E2 after the checkpoint are LEDs, piercing types so they are different from Halogens. Same for HID, they got good throw even under heavy rain.

Momoki, you can sell me your ICONII, I can find better use for it, XD!

MXtradings is good, I went there to buy Iridium spark plugs for the GSR4. Pretty cheap too and last twice as long as regular ones, with cleaning of course.

Though these days, I'm using AmsOil engine oil. It is fully synthetic, feels great even after 5k and able to last til 10k and best of all, it cost only bout $15 per quart.

Meet ups today?

I'm a Tutor! Proud to be one!

Lex, where's ur source for Amsoil? MX doesn't carry thrm anymore. Apparently price is through the roof according to Nicholas (the owner). Used to buy for $15 but last batch cost me $18 or there abouts.
