Can someone advise me which is the tallest touring windshield for GSR?

Im using ermax (modded 2 inches taller) but its only good for speeds of around 130.

The only reason why I'm not laughing with you is that I prefer laughing at you.

The tallest that I have used so far is by Givi.

There is one from MRA that I think might be a good candidate for wind protection

Mine is only 2 inch taller after the mod.

MRA look hideous.. Haha..

Guess its either form or functionality.

Anyone used the powerbronze shield before?

Thanks for advice regarding the exhaust wrap razi,

Anyway 2 quick question, is it normal for the chain slack to go up and down while you're spinning the wheel? Noticed it while lubing the chain earlier on.

And I've notice I hear several 'tiak' sound like metal breaking whenever I park after a ride, sound came from either suspension or wheel bearing, is it possible to to produce sound from a faulty wheel bearing? Dont think it's the suspension :/

Hi guys. I thought I might as well update my bike's current status. Aft my bike failure on the road the other day, I was determined to get it rectified. I was pretty sure it was the right throttle assembly, base on the manaul, and ah chong's expertise. So i made a couple of phone calls and got the best price for the exact same part (i refered to the gsr600 parts catalogue) from Chong Aik. Placed order and collected it yesterday. Damage was $80. Then later went to workshop to get it fixed. That was another 2-3 hour job... And $30 service fee

Journey back home from workshop was smooth. Today was also riding to and fro woodlands and NTU, had peace of mind. So far so good. Money gone, but bike condition and safety come first.

Thanks all bros who responded, and like bro Lexanez, ever ready to help... :)

Guys is it possible to remove the 'clutch in then start' safety function? I try to plug out the wires right behind the clutch lever but cannot start haha

Yup I read through some overseas forum, looks like a messy job involving splicing of wires meddling with the ECU etc... If I have some bit of electrical knowledge I might consider giving it a try.

So did you succeed in bypassing the safety clutch in function?

Check your fast idle and idle timing. What are the timing like? Manufacturer recommendation is 1.5k for fast idle and for idle timing will be 1.1k to 1.3k any lower expect the bike to stall.

As for your oil, you are using viscosity grade 40...To me too thin for bikes older than 3 years. If yours still new, should be OK. Do monitor your EO level. If the level goes down, you will need to top up. Maybe next Oil change go for viscosity grade 50.
