If can do dealer mode during such failure will be good....It will show you the code for what component is causing it to fail. Better get it checked...very dangerous.

There is a white plug with rubber cover on the left side of the bike. Near the tank rod.

It looks like this....

Need to short the wires like in the pix to go into dealer mode.

At the console you will be seeing the below C00 means all OK.

PS. You cannot turn off engine when the FI light is on. Doing so will reset the console and you will lose the error code. What I did is a switch that I can switch on the dealer mode if the need arises. Another thing...the above pix are not 'taken' by me. It is taken from forum website. And not it is not my fingers!!

Open up your left side cover, a piece of black plastic held by 3 hex bolts. After opening, search upwards to find a gear shape screw, turn clockwise to increase and anti-clockwise to decrease idling.

Alternatively, if you don't mind coming down to find me, I could try to help you with the situation. My number is 93387820

Guys, yknow in motoGP, the racers will tend to lift off their legs before entering a corner, like eg. before turning left they will lift their left legs. Just wondering what's the reason for doing so :/

Don't get it, don't get why lifting away the leg from the foot rest will strengthen your balance :/

You can try it out one....Accelerate 180km/h then jam front brakes to slow the bike down before corner....See if can maintain balance without sticking the legs out and turn into the corner hahahah. And of coz they are running at higher speeds of 300+ km/h at certain point of the track.

Anyway the trick is not to fall. Its not a fashion statement.

Alot of debate on this issue since Rossi made it popular in modern racing. Here's the answer.

MotoGP bikes are very fast and have very strong carbon brakes.

Braking is limited more by weight transfer (rear wheel lifting) than front tire traction.

The leg "drag" shifts more of the riders weight to the seat and theoretically allows harder braking or more stable braking.

In other words it helps to transfer weight to the front of the bike, but keeps that extra ballast low. If the rider were to weight the front, but place that ballast high, the rear of the bike has tendency to lift off the ground.

So in another word it means lifting off the leg is to balance more weight to the back?

Don't think it's necessary doing that for the posture of the GSR, or maybe I'm going too slow hahahah

I think its more to the front of the bike and at the same time maintaning the low cg.

Actually I've already tried before I asked here, all I can say is, if you're going quite fast into a corner, it helps! By a bit, I don't know how to explain that feeling but generally it does makes me more 'confident' though I think it's not nessary on sg road and the riding posture from a naked bike
