we can provide the design n oso can let them c the original. the material used is stainless steel. original ones r mayb normal metals. this is wat seng kwang claims. but theirs is more ex than the original. unless they can design a good n nice one, $300+ i dun mind paying. sliders look nice but cannot tahan crashes.

Then maybe KS abit - fix both ,crash bar for the protection , slider for the look Btw u ungrade your horn already ?

Guys finally i getting my GSR liao with another fren of mine. So there will be 2 new additions to the gang..haha. will go down book next few days once confirm with another shop.

 

need your help!!

 

So far my qoutations based on down $1.5k.

 

Albert motor - $305/mth x 48 = $14640 @ 5% interest

(free slider, taking my wave for $1900)

 

Universal - $244/mth x 60 = $14640 @ 4% interest (trade in wave @ ??)

(freebies unknown, trade in unknown, 1st 2 servicing free))

 

Leong Seng - $312.9/mth x 48 = $14976 @ 5% interest

(price can go lower to challenge Albert)

 

 

1.)is there any better deals.

 

2.)what should i ask for? service? freebies?

 

4.)Is the stock tyre good. need to change? i'm prone to skidding!!

skid n fell on my previous bikes upteen times.

 

5)Anything to look out for when taking/checking the bike?

U might want to check out Looi's motor , I was quote $13500 for age above 30. 1st 3 servicing free , interest rate unknown cos nvr ask.

thats ex... i pay $13'642 with no freebies... shd buy at Looi's instead of southern. the chopper there damn SHARP...

wat horn did u buy?? think u need to tab from the horn wiring. the horn got relay? the nautilus too big for the small space... magnum got 2 so dunno wan anot oso...

i bought normal stebel twin tone only $16 at mustafa. there is relay inside n 2 metal holders tats all. got to buy wire, fuse, fuse holder tmr, maybe solder iron oso to do a proper circuit.

dun think u need to solder. just connect the wiring not that hard... unless u wanna buy the connectors so that it looks better. i will still source for the horn...

Hello everybody!!! long time no post

I just let go one of my class on Friday... so hopefully can join u all guys since most of the times outing Friday night... Haha riding tis motor quite sumtimes but never meet u all even one

 

I do agree wif others tat the price u got bit expensive, u may one to try at MAH Motor @ serangoon... Although no freebies such sliders,crashbars etc but the price i think 1 of the best... Tips dont look desperate & pose like someone rich.... be humble and let them pleased u

 

Fuel with an octane rating of 91 or higher

Engine oil Suzuki recomends 10W-40

 

Running in "Subjective"

-intial 800km speed below 7000rpm

-up to 1600km speed below 10500rpm

-over 1600 below 14000rpm

 

Based on GSR6, so if GSR 4 maybe u can keep it lower a bir

 

The engine speed should be varied and not held at a constant speed in order to ensure and aids the mating process...

Operating engine at constant low speed can cause parts to glaze and not seat in...but do not use full throttle for the 1st 1600km....

wat u can do is get connectors instead..thats how i DIYed mine n siko's. only thing is u need to crimp the connectors properly otherwise the wire might drop out. but trust me, it's much more easier than to solder.

 

anyway all the wires that i added to my bike (horns, that blue under-glow) are all either connectors or splices. no soldering on the bike, no tapping from the bike's main wiring harness. all direct from the main battery.

 

if u really dun believe wat i say, u can ask siko n is13evil. recently i added a voltmeter n LEDs to his bike.

direct from battery more easier?? cos normally i c is they tab from wirings...
