Bikes will be ON DISPLAY around e fountain & all over the area

Public r able to view ur bikes till 9pm

 

* 1.00pm - Meetup with main convoy at Kallang

* 2.00pm - Flag off convoy

* 4.00pm - Last Bike Touch down @ Malay Heritage Centre

* 5.00pm - Arrival of GOH; Mr Zainal Abidin Rashid & Mr Ahmad Magat.

If possible, all riders are to put on their group's Shirt/ Uniforms.

 

Only Riders Who Gather At Kallang Are Able to Enter The Heritage Ctr. Other Riders R to Park Their Bikes Out Side The Compound.

buy helmet oso need company meh? u n ur friend lover ah?? for certain shops, they sell cheap but worksmanship no good. then some sell slightly ex worksmanship ok. i'm not refering to unique. i didn't go b4 i wun comment on it. normally ppl c cheap then they go then end up, worksmanship no good, curse here n there. typical singaporean. mayb i shd head down to unique one of these days to try try c good anot.

 

unique is not cheap. i paid $20 extra for a set of JT sprockets and DID x-ring chain. I think planet is charging it $20 less.

 

but clean environment, chairs for you to sit, free drinks, lots of magazines to read, friendly mechanics and friendly boss. it was worth much more than the $20 i paid for.

 

and yes, i support unique as i've been there since febuary this year. i just hope they do big CC dual purpose too as my friend's Africa Twin is acting up.

hi guys, i just bought a gsr400 today.. looking forward in joining future rides with u guys ya. i am looking for some accessories to be fixed onto the bike but not sure where to get them.

 

1. i am actually going to fix in the hepco becker side panniers.. not sure if anybody had fixed it before. cause don know want to fix the 30l or 40l one?

 

2. i saw wildcard had some red lightbulbs fixed at the front headlight. wonder where i can get them too ya?

 

3. how to tell the difference between a 06 or 07 gsr400 model?

 

4. how do i run in my engine? slow ride below certain rpm and speed?

 

5. what kind of engine oil and spark plug do u guys normally used? cause for the past yrs and my bikes, i had been using esso gold, motul 300v engine oil and those cheap ngk $4 spark plug.. so not sure for this bike can use which kinda.

 

6. as i will need like 3.2l of eo, how often do u guys change your oil. use to ride scramblers and i changed my oil every mth but i think i will go broke changing 3.2l of oil every mth.

 

7. for oil filter, i normally change every 2 oil change. do u guys practise this as well?

 

8. i use to go scrambler specialists to do up my bike last time and first time riding a naked bike. thus i am not sure where is a good place to service your gsr?

 

sorry for asking too many questions ya. cause my past bikes are all scramblers thus still kinda of new to an EFI technology haha... still old school mentality..

not much difference between a '06 or a '07 model... '07 has new colours like white and silver.. the main difference is the frames which is in black colour... depends you want soft or hard run in.. if you want soft run in then dont over rev, keep in under low rpm for first 800km then change mineral, then for next 800km change mineral again, after 1600km can rev slightly higher until 2500km then change fully syn.. this is what i do for my bike... well others had their ways too.. =] would recommend maxima extra 4T and denso iridium sparkplugs... after you change fully syn then every 5000km change, some prefer 4000km though.. for oil filter and spark plugs every 10,000km change... and lastly yes, be it a 600 or 400 we are one happy family.. =D nice to see you here... btw what colour is your bike?
