Moaning morning? Wow ... what a start for the day bro!

Good morning to everyone! Hope that your weekends are better than mine ...

Dunno why... so bad luck ... changed my fish tank water and all my neon fish dies ... :( ... never happened before .... dunno if it could be the water .... :(

Soooo sad .... (Opps ... it's GSR thread .... shouldn't talk about my fishes .... can't help to pour my feelings here ... )

Anyway ... have a great day ahead!

Cheers,

Cyrix

Congrats on you to be the 1st on Page 421. Unlike me who is the 1st on Page 400. heheheh. Wonder who will hit 1st on Page 450 & 500. hmmm.....

Anyway My brand new flip up helmet Caberg Justissimo GT. 1st day Review. Seems great, noise very low, stable at 100km/h (cannot test high speed in Singapore), the visor works great, Flip-up module works smoothly.

Helmet is tight at the moment, no pain juz tight still virgin.

Next target is its Bluetooth Intercom. Will need a few months to recover from last Saturday's "Shocking" aka Shopping Spree!!

Guys,

My apologies for not being able to join in on Saturday morning.

My wife was warded into hospital since Friday morning and I've been with her through the weekend.

Today I'm back in office but I'm on standby for today then back to hospital for the whole day tomorrow.

Anywayz, if any of the new GSR 400/ 600 riders are thinking of switching to aftermarket air filters, please do call or PM me if you want to sell the stock air filter.

Thanks.

Bro Wildcard ... what happened to your wife? Is she giving birth soon? I do not know you personally ... but I do hope everything on your side is ok!

Cheers,

Cyrix

cyrix76 > Where did u get ur stickers from? I thinking of putting some on my belly pan. Cover scratches from that time fall....

I got it from Holiday Plaza in JB. There are two shops over there that sells stickers for bike and cars ...

The stickers I am talking is not those paper stickers ... but rather are for those weather proof stickers ... Each are selling for about 6RM and above ...

They can also customise stickers if you want, just give them a picture and they will do it on spot.

Cheers,

Cyrix

I know those that are for cars and bikes are confirm waterproof one. I thinking of getting those with names and put on the bike.

You mean you want to custom make your name into sticker?

Sticker that are waterproof is one thing. Very important that the sticker can withstand high temp. Otherwise, it will melt and cause more "damage" to your bike appearances. Before I buy the sticker, I will always ask for comfirmation whether is it weather proof(rain/water proof and Sun/Heat proof) ... so far, the stickers I bought are pasted on my helmets and they are fine up till today. Right now, I have pasted on the front just behind the signal light and it is hot there after sometime on the road, but the sticker seems to be able to "tahan" the high temp. So it is good. However, go and paste it on exhaust pipe or front end pipe ... that kind of high temp ... guarantee to fry the stickers...

I am sure you can do that ... if you need help in designing your name ... I can help you. I can use photoshop to do the editing ... and you can bring the photo in softcopy and they will be able to use their computer to print the sticker for you.

They also have many stickers you can choose ... for me ... they have too many stickers till I dunno which to pick ...heehee ....

Anyway, if you want, we can go in together? I am always a weekend JB cheongsters ... always go in on Sat(mostly) or Sun ... to top up petrol and do some shoppings.

Cheers,

Cyrix

I have been in JB since I first got my baby GSR ... Holiday Plaza parking is quite safe. I know the guards there because I have been frequent there for past four years ... normally I will park very close to where the guards are ... at the slope of the entrance... the guard can clearly see my bike ...

For me, I wun hang around too long also ... the most is one hour ... anyway, GSR is heavy and they wun be able to tow away or carry it away so easily. Provided that you have locked your handle bar before you leave. :D

Cheers,

Cyrix

ps: If you dun feel safe, you can always ask me to get the sticker for you. Pass me the design you want and the dimension so that I can check with them to do it for you.

Ok ... can I add a new topic today?

I recently went to a akira warehouse sales at Jurong and saw GPS/HP holder and I bought it. Silly me thought that the suction cup can suck on the tank top, but when I went to my bike and try to use the suction cup, it did not work. Reason becos there is no large enough flat area for the suction cup to fit ... the GSR tank are curved all around ... silly me for having bought the holder.

I wonder if any bros have installed a GPS/HP holder on their GSR bike?

For me, I wanted to have one because I want to record my touring trips as video while I am riding, also I wanted it to function as GPS holder. Sigh ... I think I have to DIY installation using tapes .. etc to secure the holder in place on the GSR. One possible good location is on top of the handle bar, but it will be blocking my rpm meter... but that's ok.

I wanted to test trail maybe this weekend ... to see if it works ... first try, maybe using a similar weight equivalent to my GPS/HP ... as I am not confident will it hold the weight ... sekali .. ride halfway drop ... then wun heart pain.

Cheers,

Cyrix
