need help ! burning smell

hi guys just now i was trying to start my bike when i put they key and touch the ignition my whole bike got smoke coming out .. after checking realised it was one of the wires on the left side front of the bike burnt .. anyone got same prob b4?

i mite be improper grounding..sometimes poor wiring might set off a spark and burn insulators.if ur bike can go off,den go to e nearest bikeshop to diagnose e prob..

bro yesterday was raining heavily, so some water may have gotten into ya exhaust. there will be smoke or mist coming out when u start ur bike. Always happens to me but it will clear after u blow out all the water.

i had de same problem be4 but mine is after i washed my bike.. go change ur spark plug will b okies le

dun change ur plugs... try blowing out the water droplets first..

the previous owner tried to install a powercut i think to override the main cdi .. and wiring was attached into the meter to show vtec light i tink when opening vtec .. then the thing short circuit causing the excessive smoke that i saw coming out frm my bike, have since removed the powercut thing
