the 1st gear pickup should be able to feel the torque wanted to pull the bike. as for any faster i'm not very sure.

hi eric, personally i ride cbr600rr b4 , i find 1st 3 gear should b able to pull away but 3rd gear onwards, think they pull away ....as our hp is lower .

er-6n is 72hp on wheel is 68 or 65hp. but compare fuel comsumtion, is lower. i manage to hit 250+ b4 reserved. just to check, our bike can hit 300km above for full tank ?

any1 tried e top speed b4 ?

I had owned the er6n before for about two and half years. Personalty, I felt the bike is very nibble. Usually, I would feel the fun when doing corners and pulling off from the corners or bends. Fuel consumption is very good for a 650cc bike, I could get about 300 to 320km before hitting the reserve, but bear in mind, every individual has their riding style. Top could reach about 210 to 215 km/h. Err... you wouldn't want to reach the top speed all the time, as the wind drag is very straining to the neck.

agreed agreed.. for me i hit reserve around 260 - 270km.. i don't pump till i hit like 330km before haha and still have like 1 litre to go! haha..

iankoh : comfirm u hit 330km b4 u pump ? thats means reserved can last about 50km ? how many time u try b4 ?

thomas, many times bro.. haha.. when i hit 330km, when i pump, the pump metre reads 13L to 14L plus..

 

if i'm not wrong, er6n reserve tank is 3L. so it hits reserve at 12 litres.

 

so, i guess 3L can go about 60km?

Nt sure Bt maybe the newer model Coz looi dun hav tat bike when I visit it 2 month back. Well bro nw s4 is like 18k Otr if I m Nt mistaken. Same price as my diver 600. Part of the blame is also the Coe tat is up up n away.

I am thinking of getting a mid size all rounder like the XJ6 Diversion, CBF 600S, GSX 650F or this bike, the ER 6F next. I've no intention of installing a top case. And panniers are strictly for touring. Thanks in advance.
