How about going for wingrack and E21 route. I think they are much tougher needs not replacing often.

How much for the side box & wing rack & where you get it done ?

But it looks too wide for me, will it be difficult to squeeze in traffic jam ?

I spent a total of $370 for the customise rack and box. I customised the rack at Seng Kwang where I specify my requirements cost including lower exhaust is $250.00 and $120.00 for the E21. For the wingrack as I had it so cost does not include.

Squeeze through traffic not a problem as my box is almost the same width as my handle bar..

1st set got problem with lock, cover unlock by itself & flew off. 2nd set hit a taxi & crack when i was maneuvering in between heavy traffic. 3rd one is ok so far.

LAB got lousy workmanship & long waiting. The next door aunty shop more expensive but better workmanship. & install immediately.

Sriously...don't think you ever need a cruise control unit...waste of $s. Been up East of West Malaysia and back the other way West down back in my old days..never really find it can be use for its intend. Cruise control...eevn in today's car..its meant for Interstate Highway or other European countries where the road looks endlessly straight. Anyway part of malaysia even up Thailand..its what I call "country road touring"...in short, bend and turns are common in every less than 2.5 to 4km.

You ahve to do something about your handle bar and riding position..it helps to get proper blood flow to your hand via arm to prevent numbness. Have to learn to adopt relaxtion on both hand while riding too.

That's a good one. That's why I never believe in this thing call cruise control. Only believe in manual control.

i faced this problem too previously; hand getting numbed after half hour of riding. The root cause is due to body weight pressing down on the hands - especially if i lean forward at 45deg from vertical.

So i had 2 solutions tried - install handle bar raiser from MW & changing my posture.

Handle bar raiser makes the handle bars higher, so less tendencies to press down.

My posture i tried to sit my buttocks as front as possible, this automatically makes my body more vertical or straightened - less weight pressing on my hands.

Hope these helps

Yes mannn!!!...that's the way :thumb: to go for those having hand plam strain, muscular pain and numbness. Did the same thing but did not use handle bar raiser...lucky got long arms I guess.

Ppl go ride dirt bike never have this problem..mostly because the handle is high and the sitting posture is right up the tank. Its a good thing to hugged tehe tank and sit right up to it where the central figural force gets the bike very much in control.

I think for this,

there is no right or wrong answer for this case....

it is more of wat u like and don like.....

maybe i have be using the cruise control for some time....

i find it very useful

but maybe due to u nvr use before u don know how it feel to have it...

that y i say it is up to the person to test it .....

anyway it is not expensive...

Jus for your info, on the NSHW you can use cruise control for 200 - 300 km or 3 hrs ride without need to unlock the cruise control....

as long u don travel too fast (refer as below 160km)... light bend on NSHW u don need to unlock the cruise control... jus travel as normal...

unless you tell me u travel 200+++ cruising speed than than u cannot even use the cruise control at all....

cruise control for u to ride for long distance, it reduce the stress on ur right hand which normally have to hold the spring back for hours during long ride...

Don't get me wrong...ain't indicating is there anything right or wrong in having a crusie control unit..never said that..and either the cost of one. I'm referring to "practicality"..in this case for those who are not aware what its really for. If I'm riding Interstate..its a "must have" have for me.

Yes, I do have one (otherwise aint warrant to suggest here) in the past installed on a Honda CX500 and find that its not practical at all for our geographical road here. I rather concentrate and anticipate the next unknow bends and curves coming up in less than 2 mins than having to worry about the cruise control locking mode.

thanks bruddder!

handle bar riser only works with an aftermarket handle bar- from what i had asked at MW..

if i'm not wrong stocks were gone within a few days of reaching our shore.. so still not sure as to whether i shld get one. price wise also not cheap.

now i'm still bending forward whenever my hands are on the grips.. (kindoff like a semi sports bike posture)

did a tyre change just today, and felt vibration much reduced.. bike felt much 'lighter' and 'sleek' on the road.. might consider removing the crash bar(engine guard) for frame slider... this should further reduce the vibrations to the handle bar at high speed of around 90-110km/h.

will update in the future if i do get those stuff..
