bike under covers since monday's skid....taking cab on company's expense cos running a 3 days event....hmm beginning to feel lazy liao

discovered the handlebar was bent due to the impact as well but my hubby & i tugged and pulled & pressed til it's better otherwise when handlelocked, the right brake level would hit the mirror...now it's almost close to the original state.

sure hope when i take it on the roads there won't be any handling problem....dammit stupid carparks we have here *(&^#&*^&*%^#^%$#^%*&(@!!!!!!

Lady Lass, can imagine how you feel. When such things happen can really get you down..so sianz and no mood even. Well maybe taxi is the best alternative for this period due to the rain.

As for your handle bar, I do not think it is bent as original handle bars are tough and should not bend from a simple drop. It is likely out of alignment and can be easily realigned.

Take care everyone.

That's the thing sis, from your description of the drop,it's not severe so handlebar should not be bent, so in this case changing handlebar is not the solution. Actually it's asimple process. Do you ride bicycle? When bicycle handle "sengek", you just put the front whel between your les and twist the handle till staighten right? Well it's the same process except on a bigger scale...can be done by trial and error or I guess a good bike shop should be able to do it for you.

Aiya, it's true la..the more you scared kena scratch, the more scratches you will get. After the first scratch if you quickly repair, sure kena scratch lagi, but if you say "leave it until got more scratches then do one tme", will never get scratch again. Life's like that.

Get well soon.

D0n't worry, confidence will come back with time..I almost lost it too after my last crash...had a fear of junctions but now riding free again...:cheeky:

As for muscular aches, it's normal cos we try so hard tp prevent the drop, we use mucles we never used before...as they get strained..I had the same the day after I let my bike down :weep: :weep:

Look at the bright side of travelling for work  well some people (like me) got to do it all the time :giddy:

can understand your concern... it takes a while to regain that confidence. and more riding certainly helps... i am sure you will be doing the good old stuff in no time...

on the note about slow riding, quite frankly, i am not a fellow that goes for speed, to me i am already enjoying the freedom of riding around... i dun want to loose it by getting into accidents. a friend of mine gotten into an accident and was put off from riding for months.

and how much faster can you get by speeding through your journey? i reckon you will not save more then 5 mins on Singapore roads... it is worthwhile to put your safety on the line just to save 5 minutes?

of course, speeding on NSHW is completely a different thing altogether... kekekeke... :cheeky:

well i tend to be reckless and i am trying to remind myself constantly to be careful and this in a way made me more consciencious.

on sg roads, usually hovering at abt 90km/hr only now tat's not v fast cos i know for some their usual speed on expway is 100. hehe small bikes fr kups to kips all overtake me.

regarding NANAs, i would love to go but i got wedding dinner on 11 June leh.

later go already, i reluctant to go home or want to adopt the animals my hubby will hv my skin! :cheeky:

Hello people!

Well, just reached home actually but will be going to give my bike a good wash later!...

Anway, topic question again: Is it true that with belly-pan installed, you will not be able to install the centre-stand? I've read somewhere that you will not be able to install centre-stand if you have belly-pan...

Another topic question: Did any of you guys installed "white light-bulb" over the stock light-bulb? Is it really okay to change as there are people say that the "white light-bulb" is too hot? Is that true? Also it's legal right? Cause that's what I see at LTA's web-site... LTA HID and halogen bulbs new regulation

Just want to throw in some rubbish in this thread to make it viable for the rest of VTEC community and know that we are still kickking! :cheer:
