Actually my bike pic look glarish because of the way I took the photo shot. The bike was leaning on side stand and camera was at waist height, so LEDs bulb can be seen. But when bike is straight vertical, bulbs are not visible. Furthermore, the LEDs are encased in a plastic holder with side shields to block the light going side ways.

 

Also, my exposure time of 6 sec makes the pic look more glarish than in real life.

ea led cost u $50. that why some use those tube. as it is lesser tube to create the brightness.

You heard of people actually getting fined $50 per LEDs? Or this is just the official penalty for illegal mods?

Coz if you heard of people actually getting fined , then I need to be more discreet when switching on.

joking. but so far, i think as much as possible. ppl will try to be discreet until they are at MY. to make their bike more visible. (the concept the same as those HUGH truck)

Problem is its so tempting not to switch on the LEDs. Was cruising from BKE to SLE towards Woodlands at about 7.30pm. Sky was dark & I switched them on. Can imagine the bike look like gliding on a ball of red light. Stopped at the traffic light in woodlands. Bystanders stared while I smile uncontrollably beneath my FF flip up. Feeling kind of shiok some more.....hehehe

 

Better control myself; not do this too often - better don't push my luck too far.

Just came back with my wife and encounter this guy who cuts me while along my way home, and switch on his rear LEDs of blue and red flashing ones and try to speed off. "Tu Lan" at his attitude, I switch on my LEDs and over took him... Sigh... Kids think his Yamaha Spark can be faster than a Spec III Bol'Dor... Maybe he see me having two side-boxes and a pillion, think it's "easy-target" loh...

As I said Tim, the fuel tank's flame looks a little fuzzy but to be expected. Overall a very nice job done. A little touching up here and there around the edges of where you pasted the flames on would be sufficient.

 

Gaofar, you should have ignored the dude. No point wasting fuel over people like that. I just let them go. It is stupid to bother with them, unless they do something really dangerous and keep pestering you. Then you need to do something. Otherwise, just let it slide.

anyway lass..if u dn't want to put so many..I suggest..to 2 leds at rear mud guard..1 led at the bottom wear the mainstand bracket is..and the other 1 more led..front..near the radiator.. Confirm swee... So only 4..bright enough? for u to find out n fix it!

wat put aeroplane? anyway i hv not even met anyone least to mention put aeroplane. only 2 or 3 persons i hv met - Tim (coincidence on the few occasion at muthuworld), kennethy (alamak - this one i know for ages) & quizsilver.

Bro Gaofar: I encounter this a few times , but with cars. A few times after overtaken, I demonstrate the high torque at high rpm which most cars don't have, by bursting from 100 to 130km/hr within a sec or 2. After overtaking them, I slow down and maintain a safe distance between front & rear vehicles.

 

Some cars thought bikers are slow road hoggers & don't deserve to travel on outermost lanes.

Since u want to put 1 led..u can place it either the front or rear of the bike..cum 1 switch too! So when u gonna fix it?
