Anyone interested for a short afternoon trip this satureday 18th Nov?

Programme :

12pm lunch at holiday plaza McDonald, I'll be shopping for anime with some anime thread people.

At 2pm or maybe earlier, I planning to go Pulai Waterfall /reservoir after the shopping spree. Anyone interested can also come. Then after that , go for dinner at Permas Jaya Nasi lemak. But if rain forecast is bad, we'll eat dinner in Kulai itself. (My PDA phone can use GPRS to access the malaysian weather forecast website).

its $200 plus & water proof so far. Bought it at Motorworld. Got radiator water temp & voltage readings. Can set alarm for high temp also.

So far I find it useful to monitor the status of my battery. When bike new , my voltage reads 12.5V with engine not running. Now is 11.9V. I have to be careful when it reaches 11.3V , coz bike may not start, unless I switch off headlights.

Water temp helps me to monitor the whether the radiator is fouling, normally 85degC during cruising, if goes t0o high, I will do radiator flushing.

Now we can go recce the Pulai waterfall & reservoir this Saturday. Jus101 send me GPS coordinates of all Pasar malam in JB. We can go eat dinner at famous Permas Jaya nasi lemak, then on the way back , search for the JB Pasar malam.

only 1 comment...pls ensure that it is safe to park at holiday plaza, too many theft cases in jb to take chances. otherwise enjoy ur trip i'd be bz til e office shuts down in dec then i might join u guys for a spin too

ya...its good to have bike alarm & bike chained to something in jb. Also must lock the steering.

 

I heard bikes can disappear in seconds because steering forgot to lock. So what happens is 1 thief sits on bike & the other thief will run & push bike to somewhere nearby to hide & wait for lorry to come. So bike gone in 30 seconds.

ya even bikes w alarm and locked steering can b stolen too and tat's why am saying don't take any chances at all.

your office shut down on last week of dec or earlier? We can always adjust our Malacca hot spring / Mt. Ophir waterfall trip to match your schedule. You also don't have to feel obliged; any last minute engagements, you dun have to come also...

last nite after work went jb for petrol top up & also recce the pasar malam at N1 37.630 E103 37.203 Its somewhere between senai airport & kulai town. Very interesting place.

 

Passed by Pulai Golf resort at 6pm, so nice surroundings. So many up market bungalows & houses built around this Pulai Resort.

not tonight... coz tomorrow going to Pulai Waterfall /reservoir already.

 

Btw I noticed on the Malsing map, there 's 3 lake or reservoir within the same mountain as the Pulai Waterfall. But no access road /track shown leading to them. Have you recced the Pulai reservoir before already?

yup tomorrow afternoon , Ones_co & me going there to find the Pulai reservoir & he wants to swim in the Pulai waterfall also. Got another biker coming from "Beyond the Screen" thread. At least 2 gals & 3 guys total.

 

After that we probably go permas jaya nasi lemak for dinner , then on the way back go to the pasar malam at N1 29.930 E103 40.834.

 

You want to come also?
