Gilera VXR accessories n modifications

Hie all...

New to the scooter gang..I bought my Gilera VXR200 06 with a GPR pipe abt 6 mths back.change my piston(due to thinking it had some diff) piston ring , timing chain n 4 springs in the engine.Plus recently to a Dr pully rollers(acceleration not bad =)) ) but still my bike would stop at 127-130(down slope) . Any of my brothers/sisters would enlighten me is this norm??

hmmm bro u meant by u wanna increase ur top speed? As gilera top speed is more or less that range. +-130km/hr.

As is a 4 stroke bike, u cant really go that high like 160 or even 180km/hr. Highest i ever heard for gilera is 145 or 150km/hr with some modification.

U can try switching to heavy rollers, change to malossi 2nd gear and those standard aftermaket transmission parts for slightly higher top speed.

 

Best advice, try not to stress ur bike to much by pushing it to it's limit. If u wish to have higher top speed best is to - Upgrade:)

soldGuys, have a polini maxi speed clutch for sales, come with box, just 1 month using.

Condition like new. Better accelerate than original, more grip, no more slip clutch.

hi there anyone noe whr i cn change the ownership ofmy pipe cert...coz i bought it frm a fren and now i wanna get it legalize on my bike.....hw much to change ownership n inspection cost me?need to da asap coz i was caught by the LTA....FML....

 

Hi bro, if your fren has the cert for the pipe then its $68 to change ownership of the pipe. If he does not have the cert then you will have to buy your own cert. Then send it to any Vicom centre to do your exos inspection.
