Hey guys,

just downgraded to a gilera VXR. Been skimming through this thread and found a few posts interesting... I need tips for starters.

The bike i got is a 2nd hand one, a three year old bike.

Pickup is a lil on the downside, any feedback on this? What else did you all did to mod yr bike? Perhaps a list in order of what you did to your bike might help like:-

1) Changed exhaust

2) installed power abuser

3)etc etc

lol, so I can do up a wish list of my own. haha. Thanks guys =]

1) change exhaust - make ur bike lighter and boost acceleration

2) open pod air filter - more air flow to engine hence better acceleration, but do get ur jettings right coz u dun want ur bike to be slow like a camel but drinks fuel like water

3) multivar/speed control - boost acceleration/top end, depends on the rider's preference.. small rollers for pick-up, large ones for distance/top end..

4) rear suspension - better control of the bike, instead of the stock ones, throwing u up and down when ur at high speed..

thanks guys! for the open pod air filter, any bike shop will do right?

and when you mention rollers, its not the wheels aye( cos i'm thinking that sounds logical, smaller wheels faster pickup, slightly larger one, better for distance)

and for rear suspension- any recommendations?

and most importantly....cost price of all mentioned above?

Theres a few to choose from for rear suspensions. Brands like Bitubo & Yss are the common ones. :)

Faster than fast,

Quicker than quick.

any recommendation for box as mine is damaged.
