he is fine... strained his left arm trying to break fall...

 

no... they are different people... the one who went for the paintball game was arjen...

 

he got time to try break fall...the moment my front tire wobbles, i know. happens too fast. just wobbles left, right and i go down. yeah, strian my right hand too

 

not sure maybe my tire. but both tire still got thread deep. somehow feel the road is slippery.

after skid, phobia, rode at 60kmh.

 

 

 

 

last few years, was phantom 150 brand new. know the tire no good. save cost, end up skid.

 

today i still got allowance, 1 and half car length, i just brake abit, not hard braking, know the front skid and 'arghh' down i go...i know surface is wet cos drizzling. moment i brake, i know skid liao...but no time for reaction.

 

tats becos your front have lock .......

 

worst thing is the rear is totally no use .....

 

raining i uselly use the rear break harder ........

 

tat is one of the reason i change bike ...................

advisable to get a doctor to check you out......

 

then maybe reconsider the tire you are using....

 

PS...front fork sus damping also plays a part in stability....

 

I too was in the rain this afternoon.....kept reminding myself....wet surface...greater break distance....it is quite a frightening experience to have the vehicle in front doing ebrake....if I am not ready for it....

 

i do normal brake. kena skid also during my bike lesson doing e-brake.

braking technique also plays a part....this is why now the ebrake course in school is wet....

 

think I will try doing ebrake in the wet in safe condition to get a feel of the bike during ebrake... and also get to know its braking distance in the wet...sometime soon....

tire tats are not good for wet oso one problem

 

so most of the time i chose i get some thing tat must be

what bike you recommend cl2a. transalp but i don't like bike too old. worry bike condition.

maybe you down grade lor ..... vara 125 lar ...

check the internet of the tire you using ... see is it good for wet

cls2a ...... hard to find a good over all bike leh ......

maybe you down grade lor ..... vara 125 lar ...

 

vara125 is a good touring bike but no power to overtake. i saw few times and i'd say unless one really ride at a constant speed and very patience of not to overtake.

 

i'd like s4, got power to overtake but got cl2 better la.

just be safe on wet surface. going to adjust my rear brake once and for all, not comfortable with the current level.

this afternoon on the way back from work also got caught in a heavy rain even before starting the bike journey home.. noted two things:

1) my RS taichi needs a change. 2yrs plus now the lower front of the jacket leaks alot of water, and the in-seam of the pants(seldom use) also buang..

2) almost rear-ended a car from the left rear side as the driver E-Brake out of nowhere. thankfully i was at the correct position to pass the car on its left, between two lanes.. positioning also plays a part in a last minute attempt to swerve in avoidance.

I used to ride a Super 4 also, Version S with that Brembo brakes. Well and good in the dry, but when it rains, the brakes are useless, Brembo or no Brembo. Become Rambo in the rain.Totally useless...

I have to engine brake and ride slowly...scared the sh*t out of me a few times liao when raining.

 

One of the reason why I changed to the fazer. The brakes are a huge improvement lah...

 

To be frank, its pointless to get a smaller bike than your current S4. When u need the power to overtake and there is none, its downright dangerous.

For 2A, Super 4 still the best package. The newer ones for ABS and combined brakes.

 

And as someone who grab the brakes when **** happens, I say ABS is a life saver.

99% of us are non-Rossi, normal riders, and all these ABS is meant to help riders.

In school teach wat E brake must grip the fuel tank, right posture...etc. Wtf...when the **** happens, most of us will grab the lever anyway and leave it to god/ allah/toa beh gong/ buddha.

 

Well, when it rains, its easy to lock the rear tyres when clamp on it. I tap on it to slow down. Easy to fishtail...scary sh*t.
