i saw this before on a ghostrider clip. i believe it was on his turbo hayabusa. its supposed to be a weight saving or bikes with space constrains.

 

but i don't believe you can just "build" one as brake/clutch fluid (DOT 4) is not "some" oil. :goodluck: if you're planning to DIY anyway. :)

This is only the reservoir for brake oil...

yup..its a rvf..but the green tube itself,can i just get any tube from the diy store ?? as i hav no idea whether the brake fluid will do any damages 2 it..

But is the point of doing it? The original can be screwed tight to prevent unwanted hands..

Or even prevent water entry.

The bigger sized OEM reservoir let you lengthen the brake oil changing time as well...

He could be a racer and the 50gram weight reduction will be very important to his lap times. Plus he probably has full pit crews at his disposal to service his bike after every race so the accelerated service interval would'nt be a problem to him.

bro, nt racer or wat lah.. this cld be either for cosmetics wise or maybe for really weight reduction.. lol.. but it's jus a few grams..

 

I'll pray for all street riders who do this "cosmetic" mod then.

Hopefully they know what they are getting themselves into.
