the esso at central i think really is closed down cause i saw outside got put a sign saying permently closed down .. but like your said could oso be due to the few block behind gg to tear down that y esso oso under the area gg to tear down

Army is slack... really. Last time during my time back in 2004, was considered quite slack but of course basic army rules and discipline still applies lah. Other than that, it is really slack. Even when they ask you to knock it down, i think the new rule should be something like no more than 20 and last time they used to "Soldier, you see that tree there? Go touch ALL the trees *that he is pointing to* beside that tree... NOW!!! GO RUN!!!"; and so they used to make you run like horses, now, this method is banned. So much more lah.

 

Esso close down?! Omg, that's gonna like cause so much of inconvenience man! Nevermind, behind my house got Esso so at least still not so bad. Haha! Ya i think the government is going to tear down those flats behind sometime soon i guess... i think only lah hahahaha!

esso is better as they r using ron 98 for their petrol . the other rest of the petrol r using ron 97 only ..

 

this is wad my fren tell me coz he's in petrol side .. im in fuel oil side ..

 

i dunno wad he meant by esso using ron 98 and the rest using ron 97 .. if im not wrong .. he talking about the base which they use to blend to diff kind of petrol using ron 98 ..

 

for v-power wise .. its another kind of addictive added to thier ron 97 petrol thats y its another kind of petrol .. for the "blue colour" that u guys see .. its juz colouring .. nth to do witht the addictive they added to make it v-power ..

i think its a bit too much the govt should help out at least. coz in singapore our petrol is tax so not only we pay for the high petrol cost govt still collect tax from it some more . for the time being govt should at least remove the tax lor

The only think i i know is that:

Shell Formula 98 is the equivalent of Esso Synergy 8000;

Shell Formula 95 is the equivalent of Esso Synergy 5000;

Shell Formula 92 is the equivalent of Esso Synergy 2000;

Diesel is Diesel.

 

Anyway knowing that the petrol is high. Make sure when you ride/drive, don't rev up your engine to high. Recently i managed to hit up to 320km+ without hitting reserve yet!

 

As for the government... sigh, there's only so much we can do.

 

 

for my case .. i can throtle happy also no prob .. not much diff ..

i guai guai ride my bike .. 220 hit reserve ..

 

i rev till high then change for the 1st 3 gears .. 200+ hit reserve .. diff only

 

coz last 3 gear cant really drag in singapore ..

 

if go track .. about 170km i hit reserve liao lu ..

Haha of course lah your bike how big and my bike is only 125cc... if i drag makes a lot of difference man! There was once i hit reserve at 280km and compare to the most recent record — 320km haven't hit reserve yet! Haha

 

pump diesel lor, first gear can 100km/hr, second gear bike explode
