guys i have several doubts i wanna ask.

1. At the junction where the arrow is only for going straight, should we form left-right-left-right like those when we stopped at the junction where there double arrow head?

2. How to properly check junction b4 move off like the one outside bbdc where we juz completed the circuit courses and there is a tp directly sitting infront of the gate? Check right side, if clear liao, check back den move off? do we need to check right side again?

hehe thanks. hope can answer me.

hmm... what i'm giving you sHouLd be right (clarify with the instructors when you're at bbdc) meantime, this is my answer.

1. Yes you should position left-right if its a single arrow for going straight, as long as its a single firection, you can positon 2 rows, aint that right? unless its like straight and left, then position only 1 row, lets say its left, becoz everyone in that lesson is only going left.

2. I think checking the right side again after checking back is for safety, just in case a vehicle really comes speeding past after you check bad. By right, if you check right, then do a really QUICK check back then can move off liao. and no one should come from your left blindspot, unless he so pro can squeeze there la... :p

1. can form up on a lane going straight. if i'm not wrong, once the light turns green, the 1st rider on the right row will move off first. everyone has to check right side blind spot before moving off of course.

2. at the junction where is the gate is, the main road has 2 lanes coming from the right side. u should not move out unless there is enough distance from the on-coming vehicle be the vehicle on the inner or outer lane because if the vehicle is on the outer lane, tat vehicle might change lane last min and end up slowing down behind u. once it's ok to go, check ur left blind spot (becos u r turning left) and move out.

being penalised for improper checking includes what you said, looking down on the ground, others include, check too early or too late, like if you check WHILE turning, that would be too late. Yes, correct one is chin over shoulders. There are specific points where instructors will tell you when to check. Remember them and execute the checking as directed.

During TP, we must also do it smart. There are major mistakes which will get you alot of demerit points like insufficient side clearance, beating amber light. Aim these, and never make the mistakes. To avoid them, what i do is go slow, if in doubt, stop. True that unneccessary stopping will cause you 2 pts, but 2 is better than 8 that the insufficient side clearance gives you. Next is those common mistakes that you will get, varies from person to person. For me, its wobbling and forgetting to cancel signal at the crank course. I'll try my best to accelerate fast enough so i dont wobble and try very hard to remember to cancel signal at crank course. Point is, be it 0 pt, 2 pts, 8 pts, or 18 pts, its still considered a pass! So give yourself allowance to make mistakes, small ones, but not the major ones!

After slalom pylon is the starting of the concrete narrow plank

the one after ebrake where we heading out of bbdc, have to turn right. where is the blindspot u checked last time? is it near the dustbin there?

There are minimum around 20 blind spots to check I think. I never include when you have to stop if there are oncoming traffic, at traffic light all these.
