5.02 once... 8.01 umpteen times coz i took one year break between my second attempt and 3rd attempt due to some unsaid issues that came up..

 

so can only imagine not riding for 1 yr.. then suddenly need to retake rtt, need to renew pdl.. and just get going with the assessment... damn embarrassing...

yes.. important tip there... dun blindly follow others... I was once the first bike, and i accidentally signal at where i'm not suppose to signal, and was the cause of 5 trainees to fail as they followed me (extra 2 points), but i passed... felt a bit guilty after... but then again i wasn't wearing a tag that says, "follow me"...

 

second time during 8.01... was damn hot, couldnt stand to wait plus i already know i fail after some calculations, and i squeezed between cars, and 2 trainees follow suit.. so they also fail because they followed me..

 

i must thanks my instructor back then. i think it was the first session, and that evaluation only 3 of us. i was second in line and i blindly followed that guy and turn wrongly near the slope there. i was thinking sure fail also, but then i already paid for it, just finish the lesson and take it as a practice. the first guy left after he turn wrongly... and end of the day, i am the only one passing that. =x

 

wah sian liddat actually was planning to get licence b4 april 20th . think liddat cannot liao sob

 

haven pass practical 5 can book or view TP date meh? i enrolled in nov last time. march then get to do my TP leh. you seems very anxious to get your bike license? stay cool and relax. gan chiong spider is one of the last thing we want on the road.

don't worry. everyone started banging the wall, then going round and round in the mini circuit then to the bigger one then to the main road. you will get your chance too.

it's a good thing that they make 8.01 harder than TP coz then higher chance to pass TP first time.. 8.01 is naturally harder as 2 instructor watching u closely in every course and journey.. whereas TP got 9 or 10 TPs sitting at their designated sit (usually under shade) and watch.. might miss watching you miss checking the blindspot if car swee2 protect you from his sight..

the bold wordings very harsh sia.. why they stop refunding one.. sometimes not say we wanna miss the TP also ma... very upsetting.. 2B still not so painful to the pocket.. for Car.. $160 gone just like that for not meeting the criterias 14 days before TP..

well depends.. My bike's fully stock except for it's exhaust system. Just need to do the monthly maintenance and checks without fail, else everything else gets untidy - think most bikes needs it's regular maintenance anyway. And if go track often, tires need changing more frequently than usual...

 

Unless of course you modify specifically for racing and tracking.. then that'd be a different story..

 

For a start, you can always go slow with an armoured jacket, jeans and FF.. but need to resist the temptation to play chasing and speeding unnecessarily esp when you are really new and dunno the track layout well enuff.

 

A full racing suit may be costly, but when you think about it, you wanna crash and break bones and have many abbrassion or you wanna invest in these gears that'll protect you at least 80% from serious injury?

 

Well with these, i can say dun do it on impulse.. wanna track, then be ready to spend.. else dun.. just my 2 cents..

 

lining, as in during corner, follow what sort of lining.. but these lining techniques, can't be taught as it's suppose to suit your ability and comfort zone.. different ppl different lining...
