Just wish to confirm something.

 

If only 1 car stopped or moving slowly at the bend, i should overtake it right? And if got cars after the bend, then i should stop behind them right?

 

yup. just pick up speed lor if oni one car slow2. own time own target as long u dont kanchiong and make mistakes.. all the best for ur 5.02

I got 50 demerit points for my 1st 5.02!!! No Immediate Failure. Haha, i laughed out when i saw my papar. Anyone "scored" more than me?

Most of my points came from basic things like wobbling, sharp turning, blind spots checking although i did caused a car to slow down kena 8 points.

Best thing is i did RC before my 5.02 and my instructor say i quite good already, haha!!!

I got 50 demerit points for my 1st 5.02!!! No Immediate Failure. Haha, i laughed out when i saw my papar. Anyone "scored" more than me?

Most of my points came from basic things like wobbling, sharp turning, blind spots checking although i did caused a car to slow down kena 8 points.

Best thing is i did RC before my 5.02 and my instructor say i quite good already, haha!!!

 

I begun to think that RC is not very helpful as the instructor may not notice all your mistakes or may not be very strict.

i guess depends on which instructor u get bah..=x some, usually the more senior ones will be abit more niao, some v slack >.

 

anyway..its only ur 1st 5.02, maybe the tester u had was more particular?

ur score isnt the highest la..haha..some other learners also took 5.02 >5 times, ppl with 60-70 pts also have..

 

personally i feel rc more helpful than always going for 5.02 and trying ur luck and praying that u'll pass =x

cuz 5.02 only get to warm up once or twice, then test le..but during rc u'll get to practice more rounds, the instructor can point out ur mistakes on the spot, and also less pressure to perform

The instructor for 5.02 told me got someone who take 5.02 twenty(20) times!!! My jaws immediately dropped. Personally, i felt my skills are already there. It is all about performing under pressure which i really bad at. I failed my class 4 all due to pressure.

 

Anyone can tell me how to cope with pressure?

anyway it's all in the mind i guess. try telling yourself those instructors are not there to assess you. they just happen to be standing there? just ignore whatever you see and hear, just concentrate on going the test route once.

That time class 3 passed somehow not very nervous. I think i answered my own qn, i did not give myself pressure...

totally know what u mean..but nervous..cant be helped i guess =x

 

mmm..after ur skills reach a certain standard liao..then drop abit when nervous also nvm?

tp that time i also wobble alot more than usual =x

ok la.. give you some tips before 'exams'

wake up early. earlier than you would. see how you feel, if nervous, bathe already go out. then slowly walk walk walk and not thinking of anything else, also can get a drink too. then slowly stroll to bbdc, by that time, you should be calmed already. if still nervous, take a deep breathe and revisewhat you have to do. should be ok. =) i wake up a 5+ just for my tp when its at 730.. i used this method. can try it.

but anw, you cant go for SP right? coz haven pass 5.02..what i do last time is just go ahead for the evaluation..fail, fail lor..try again. haha..just take it as a normal riding..dun keep thinking its evaluation or test..if not you cant stop being a spider! good luck! Ride as per normal..you got to psycho yourself..

Personally I'll just close throttle and pull clutch. Let the bike freewheel out of the course and apply brakes.

I'd slow down normally with both brakes and control speed with throttle and rear brakes ;]

yea a pretty "cheat" technique

 

Just make sure yer bike has already completed the curve, and bike straight. Clutching in while banking, is one of the most dumbest things to do.

Wish to thanks all who gave me advice. I got 12 pts for my 5.02 today but 1 IF - Brush 1 cone in pylon. Also wish to encourage all those who took 5.02 w me at 8.05pm. Entire class of 8 failed but most of us were so close!
