After theory lessons, I guess that you need to take your Trial Theory Test before booking for Riding Theory Test so that you can get your PDL.

The Trial theory test is actually the Riding Theory Evaluation (RTE) which is implemented by the driving centres.

Congrats on embarking the journey of biking!:thumb:

Guess in BBDC they call it RTE rather than TTT in SSDC.

sry to hijack this thread ah ~ :cheeky:

im thinking of taking class 3 now, u all recommend private or centre? anyone wants to share their experience?

private is way much cheaper than school but got to wait for a longer time for tp since priority will go to school learner first.

IMO, i tink school learner got to practice the circuit more than private learner since private learner need to pay to use the circuit.

Private for sure, don't believe in the priority nonsense, its gimmick. I did my private in 3 months, don't ask why, I don't know either. I did pay quite alot for private learner because I wanted to make sure I passed on 1st attempt. About 800sgd spent.

hmm 800 sgd is not bad for a private student compared to sch students who pay around 1.5k.

haha you said you paid a lot for your private.. I went BBDC and I was considered rather fast in my whole class 3 process and still spent about 1600++ and about 6months... Should have went private!

hi... I am wondering roughly how long would it take for me to get my 2b license at bbdc...

If your 'hardworking', three months would do.. It's just basically waiting for all the test date which would prolly take about a month each for rtt and tp..

From my experience, its definitely abit harder to balance on the plank on the tp day itself becos we are all nervous..so i recommend just go abit faster..even if less than 7sec..give it to them lo. at least better than i try to clock 7sec but end up dropping.

gud luck:thumb:

I notice that at short bend like before slope/after slope/after crank and S course, i can control my bike better if i use the half-clutch method as i can turn at very slow speed. Would i kena any points for that ?

Thanks.

by right u can kana points under "moving off with wrong gear" if im not wrong cos i got ask instructor similar question before.

cos by right u exit s course and crank course with 2nd gear and enter slope with 2nd gear unless you need to stop or give way den u no choice but to move off in 1st gear. only then u can use the half clutch without worry.

having said that, it all depends on the leniency of the testers, 2b harder to catch cos the gear changing sound not that obvious to the tester but its a different case for 2a/2 bikes.

just my 2cents worth :)
