granted that rc got instructor to guide you, but it's much more expensive than sp. but i tink it's okay cos as long as u noe where u weak in just concentrate on that area during sp. and some of the bbdc instructors (not all) are quite nice, they willing to correct you if they happen to see ur mistakes. :)

Hi. I was at E brake just now and i am sure my speed is at least 30km/h but towards the end i got close my throttle a bit as i was hitting 35. But tester said my light towards the end no more , only beginning have.

So my question is that is it even my speed is more than 30, but i close throttle a bit to reduce speed, light would not come up?

once the green light on my front lights up, i start to maintain throttle.

technically it should still light up if its above 30..but there always an error factor and since the speed is only 35, not very far off from 30. the engine brake could have kick in and make it slightly less than 30.

so bro, how was the tp? :)

i was in the same situation as you during my tp. i got 6 points for improper technique and the tester shout at me and say "too slow!!!!!" once you hit 30 the green light is on already just mantain the throttle. once you reach the white light then close. and also some bikes there the green light not so sensitive.

Once your speed is beneath 30 the the light won't be on.

Today TP failed. Got points for improper posture when stopping - dun know why kena.

Plank below 6 seconds. Delay in moving off. Wobble when stopping. E-brake fail to attain required speed. But i was sure the speed needle is above 30kmh. Thats y when i kena this, i was very surprised. Total 28 pts.

Is it possible to see if my green light is on when i am doing the E- brake?

Very sianz as i thought i was going to pass after finishing the test as i thought i did well.

Trust me, the testers are very partial :thumb:

You mean the testers very biased? why?

I went to ask the tester, he insisted my light was not on. So if he is telling the truth, that means my bike may not be so sensitive to 30kmh....

dun worry man. its ok just book another test date and go for revisions. i know quite a number of people who got 40+ points for tp and still mananged to pass in their next test. it is always demoralising when you fail ur tp but keep your head high man.

yes, keep that head high! and i believe failing doesnt mean its end of the world. its just make you more determined and safer to treasure the hard-earned licence. :)

Thks for all the encourgement. Just that i feel i done well, does not deserve to fail, esp the part on E brake i am sure i keep above 30kmh.

Well, i guess nothing i can do now except going for my next TP.

Some bike, the lights spoil already. even if u ride 100km/h, the lights won't appear.

BUT, my instructor once told me, the testers will be able to judge your speed w/o looking at the lights.

i'm from SSDC anyway.

Tks, but i dun think 1-3kmh the testers would be able to see the difference. They would just look if the light went up.
