Piston faulty or not...listen to the sound. If engine louder than other same bike...means faulty already. But that's not always the case...sometime diff bike have different sounds.

Best if go get it checked. Let mechanic test ride your bike for best results.

For phantom...kill switch is sacred and not to be used at all if possible.

For your kick starter bike...I not sure if the kill switch have the same weakness as mine.

But that's what you do to get it started, so even if weak also no choice.

hmm my bike has a weird noise.. like screeching.. i went to get it checked and they told me to come back and fix it after about 500-800km .. i alr like close to 300km only lol.. and the shop told me is something to do with clutch wise..

My bike gotten for one month plus...only traveled around 800km.

It's never too bad to get a second opinion, go another shop check.

 

All these talks about LED lights....makes me feel like installing too.

But I guess I just spend the money on installing hazard lights...phantom with LED like nothing interesting.

omg like that how.. cos usually morning if i cant kickstart with my choke on, i will turn the kill switch off and kickstart a few time, then turn the kill switch on and kickstart with choke on, and aft that then close choke... like that vulnerable?

I remember his was of starting cold engine was mentioned somewhere in this forum.

Heard it's quite effective to start that bike.

Different bike got different ways to start ba.

went to my bike just now and realised that i actually didnt lock my handle bar yesterday. scary man cuz everytime i would make sure i off my engine, close the petrol, off headlight and lock handlebar. yesterday i dunno what i was thinking when i didnt lock my handle bar. luckily my bike not pushed away.

 

the weather so unpredictable. just now like going to rain then now the dark clouds go away

hi, im a newbie to all these. i just passed my 1.01 which took me 2 times to clear. had my 1.02 just now and after the instructor said i was good and doing well with gear shifting, etc, he failed me. already feel so demoralized. actually, the instructor failed everyone. how sad is that. i didnt know bbdc is so strict.

 

piling the foundation of a new building is always the hardest and time consuming. don't fret. everyone here fail practical before too.

 

anyway i am going for my 2nd lesson soon too!

if you mean better in terms of speed/power i think yes. i heard 125z has more power since it is 2 stroke compared to spark.

 

top speed doesnt matter, i hit 100 km/h my handlebar feel very light, the overall feeling is very creepy, like you will just buang anytime.

 

maybe i should try my bike's top speed someday

today i super sotong.. morning didnt check my fuel then just ride out, went out and later send my friend for 2b lesson.. then went out and came back fetch him at afternoon BUT, on the way to exiting KJE near brickland road exit, my throttle suddenly lost its "ability" lol.. and i went to the road shoulder .. tried to start, push start, kick start also cannot.. then i check fuel tank, no fuel.. lucky not piston jam or anything.. but then i panic, if from there push to esso takes like forever and i dont want to tow or anything like waste money.. so i tried thinking til like 10mins called my friend, he told me got turn on reserve fuel anot.. then i was like ???? reserve fuel??? then i tried turning it on and yes, it could work. i felt soooooooooooooooooooo stupid
