Tomorrow last lesson at T17...but don't like to park at koufu there...that place a lot of bugs! Seen a bike beside mine gotten attacked by a huge bunch of ants or something last time, then don't dare to park there already. On bike without box...I don't know how rider survives.

Always carry their raincoat and helmet with them in their backpack?

There was once I was trapped in a thunderstorm while going home...bag got water damage...laptop, phone, wallet, mp3, books...blah blah, all wet! Lucky nothing was spoiled.

Unless get those bags with rain bag cover...I find it hard to survive under rain without box. :o

Unfortunately, my raincoat only fits me and myself only...even a pouch will make my raincoat bulge and expose some parts and cause rain to seep in. Too big a raincoat will cause obstructions in movements and rear view mirrors.

A cheap way I found to combat this problem is to get ziploc bags...seal every important thing! Get a bunch of ziploc from beach road for a few dollars...comes in different sizes.

Or you can get those bags with rain bag cover. more expensive but your bag will stay reasonably dry I think.

In my box currently, I have 3 ziploc bags...one to keep a set of dry clothes in case caught in rain when going out, one to keep my raincoat, and one to keep misc stuff like parking coupons, street directory, pen, bike parking coupon disk(not sure what it's called...the disk used to keep season parking rfid tag dry). Other things in my box are 3 rags and a pair of shades for when the sun is eye piercing.

Keep no time to go add side panniers...then those ziploc items can move to the side and make way for my 2 helmets!

I think most rider don't bring raincoat with them if their bike don't have a box.

That's the point...if don't bring raincoat and caught under thunderstorm, won't their valuables in their pockets(phone, wallet, mp3...etc) get wet?

Not really confirm if there will be penalty or not if you move off slow from filter lane.

But even if got marks for that, it's only...2 points? better than rushing and getting into more mistakes. :)

For tat filter lane, just don't forget blindspot and move off when no car or safe to go.. During my tp, those testers couldn't even see tat filter lane area cos too far from bus stop.. Just be safe and don't kanchiong.. make sure when lane change, check bs ferst then move to other lane..

also keep checking for junctions, pedestrians.. Also come early cos warm up is first come first serve basis.. I managed to get to prac 2 rounds.. Good luck!
